Review from Chris P.
I had a great experience at Donlands subway station today.
I was on my way to Eros Fitness (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...) and I was running a bit late. From where I live it takes about 20 minutes to subway it to Donlands station if the subway runs smoothly and doesn't have any long inexplicable stops at random stations. I was gunning to arrive at Donlands in time to catch the 12.30pm Jones St. bus so I would get to Eros in time for the 1pm pole class. As I said, I was running late and had just exactly enough time to get to Donlands to get the 12.30pm bus, really like not a minute to spare. The subway did run quickly and I got to Donlands at 12.28pm just as the 12.30pm bus was rolling in. All I could think was that someone up there must have been looking out for me!!
As a subway station Donalnds is a good one. Its small and very clearly labelled as to where to wait for which bus, there are 2 buses which run from this station. Its also fairly clean as it doesn't have the usual trash all strewn around. People who frequent this station seem to know how to use the garbage cans also located inside the station. -

Markham, ON
Donlands Subway Station is easy and straightforward..
One Entrance, One Exit...
Two Buses one go North one go South
And I never get lost.
That's a good enough Station!! -

It's not a bad station per se but definitely not as good as some if its westbound competition...
The Good:
- No frills type convenience store downstairs
- Right next to the One in the Only coffee shop
- Busses are frequent
The Bad:
- No ATM
- No Metro Pass/ token booth
- Cash only for metro passes
The Ugly:
- No escalator down or elevator... seems like every day I am helping an old lady with her groceries or mom with stroller down 4 flights!
