Review from Edward L.
One of the better donairs in town.
Parking sucks here, so be sure to walk.
The interior is painted a bright lime green. Reminds me of jello. Or something along those lines.
The staff are quite efficient at cranking these out. You can go from $6.49 for a basic donair to $11 for a platter.
One thing worth mentioning is that many places put "wet" stuff into the donair, such that a puddle forms and disintegrates the wrap. Not this one. It is dry all the way through.
As for the toppings, they seemed fresh, and they didn't skimp out at all. Excellent. Yes, they do microwave the wrap as well, but in my books that sure beats having everything sit under a heat lamp for who knows how long.
Not the world's cheapest lunch, but decently filling. Therefore I am a happy camper. -

The food here is plain bad. They microwave everything, despite the seemingly frsh vegetables and sauces offered. I can microwave crap food at home. They also act like customers are an inconvenience ehen you come in. The ambiance is plain and somewhat clean, and the prices are standard, although too high for a microwave meal. I will not be back.

Ok-this was one of those places you pass by and think...how bad can it be? Well, yes, it's THAT BAD. I ordered the Beef Rice Plate with Hummus & Regular Lamb Wrap. My thoughts below...
Beef Rice Plate w/ Hummus-probably the most tasty out of both and the worse hummus I've ever tasted. It didn't even taste like hummus, but more like a bitter paste.
Regular Lamb Wrap-SALTY, SALTY, SALTY. I should have just picked up some salt packets and downed them instead.
Check out my pics.

About 2.5 stars. Meh, I've definately have had better.
The lamb donair I ordered seemed like I had simply walked into a deli and ordered a really big wrap. The meat was not sliced fresh off the roasting spit, but instead, the meat was taken from a container -- pre-sliced. Hot, freshly sliced meat is the basis of a donair! And, if you advertise gyros being available, the you should actually have them available in the restaurant.
I wouldn't come back here again. I was full after eating. But, if you are hungry and not looking for an authentic looking and tasting donair, then this place would be okay. -

I've been on a donair/shawarma/pita kick lately.
This place was good. Decent. A little too expensive, but alas.
I'm giving it 3 stars because the girl at the counter didn't speak english and didn't know how to use a cash register or what baklava was. I'll probably just go somewhere else because I'm a snob and need faster service.
Yawn. -

Big fan. I fell in love with Donairs while traveling Europe... couldnt find a place that could compare until now!
Collaborated with the owner and created "The Mo"... its not on the menu but super spicy, juicy and meaty! -

My cousin and I were scouring Robson street for a quick but filling bite to eat on a Sunday night, and the smell coming out of place won us over in 2 seconds!
We proceeded to go inside and order. We both ended up getting Lebanese chicken shawarma wraps and a canned drink. The chicken DID come out of heated metal containers (which many reviewers had a problem with) but throughout the whole time we were sitting there, the guy was constantly carving up fresh meat as more and more people came in. The chicken itself tasted great, the whole shawarma was fantastic, and it was bigger than most shawarmas I end up getting elsewhere. The guy working there was pleasant and he had no problems when I asked for a little extra tzatziki inside (I'm a tzatziki fiend)!
The price was overall pretty average for a shawarma place, but like I mentioned earlier, the shawarma was bigger than what most places serve!
The place itself seems pretty new and clean, lots of seats and a giant TV as well. -

Visited Vancouver and arrived around lunch time after a 3 hour train ride..I was HUNGRY! After checking into our hotel, we needed to look for a place to eat that would be quick..low and behold a Falafel place across the street....hell yeah!
We walk in and I was in heaven...not only do they have veggie falafels, they have a variety! I had the pineapple falafel which was yummy! A hint of sweetness to a falfel, I gobbled it up in about 3 minutes.
The service was quick and the food was fresh and fast. I was so happy to have found this place! It's def not the cheapest place but worth it! If you live or work nearby and want some great Falafel...go here! -

A classmate of mine introduced me to this place and I haven't bothered going to a different place since, even though I pass by 6 different donair/shawarma/pita places on the way.
Their chicken platter is soooo tasty and it's huge! I share it with my boyfriend and we still have leftovers. The meat has a fantastic seasoning on it and they're very generous with their portions. Great variety, good sauce choices, and delicious food. -

This place is just great, Honestly the best and biggest donair I have found downtown... It is not cheap, but it is good... They have these specialties and the best one was probably the hawaiian donair... oh by the way, all their options are available in chicken, lamb and beef, each separately, which I greatly appreciate since some places always sell the beef and lamb mixed... (gross) , I had the beef hawaiian and later throughout the week I had the lebanese, both beef both great... well condimented and well balanced quantities and flavors.
Payed 16 buck for two specialities and 2 pops for me and my friend!
PLace has been around for about 6 months now..., It looks like they need some people down there... believe me... it is worth it... go check out this place if you love donairs!
It makes donair king look like donair peasant!
Long Live!

For the price it's not bad at all. Bought a lamb platter which included pita bread, hummus, some parsley salad, and lamb on basmati rice. I've had better lamb, but at least it tasted well enough for me to finish it all. Next time I'll try tasting what they actually advertise: The donairs!

The good:
-There was initially no one at the counter when I came in. Someone promptly came to the counter once he heard the door, and immediately washed his hands. Great!
-Tons of fresh-looking toppings.
-The wrap was enormous (this was not actually so good, but for some people it'd be a bonus).
The bad:
-I ask for chicken. Rather than carving meat off the spit, he reaches some tongs into some meat warmer dish. Maybe I should have just left then, but to be honest, the meat was actually ok.
-I ask for 1 falafel ($1). It's listed under "sides." I think, $1 is a lot for 1 falafel, but whatever, I'd like to try it. He throws 3 falafels into the microwave (another bad sign, I think). Oh, it's *3* for $1, I think. That makes more sense. But then he starts prepping a pita. I clarify that I don't want a falafel wrap, I just want ONE falafel. He understands (I think) and puts the pita away. He asks what sauce I want on the falafels, and then proceeds to charge me THREE dollars for them! I was too much of a wimp to protest, so that was partially my fault, but what a ripoff. And they were NOT good - they had a bland, forgettable flavor and completely soggy surface.
-A minor point, but they had "man vs food" on the TV - is there any show you'd like to see less while eating?
Oh well, definitely a miss. -

This place used to be great, we visited at least once a week. But sadly something has changed, more specifically the meat no longer tastes like meat it is now rubbery and tasteless. Last time we were there we could not even take a second bite that's how bad it tasted. It's too bad this place use to have the best Donair in town.
