Food is very tasty and filling. Enjoyed the enchilada's. Pomegranate margarita was watered down. Not a whole lot of flavour.

It's a bar. No strike that, it's a giant Mexican themed bar.
This place is huge. And that's even before I realized there was another room behind the bar I hadn't seen walking in. I can only imagine what it's like on a weekend with live music and an active crowd. As it was we went there for lunch and the staff outnumbered the patrons.
Service is slow, or would have been had the bartender not taken pity on the waitress and taken over our table. The lunch menu is reasonably priced and guaranteed to be served in 15 minutes. As a starter chips and salsa were brought out, the chips were slightly stale and the salsa was of poor quality store bought. The meal itself was good though lacking in spices and with plenty of cheese.
For a quick lunch that's not the standard sandwich affair Don Pedros offers an alternative that's worth trying out. -

Best Mexican spot in Winnipeg! Upscale compared to Carlos. Dress nice, and enjoy! Lunch and dinner are both great. At night this place is known as The Pink Taco. I'm not making that up, nor do I know why it is called the Pink Taco...Great place though, and in the exchange district which is nice.

The decor fits the theme and is interesting. The service is okay and the food is passable. If you're not picky about Mexican food and like Carlos & Murphy's version of Mexican, then you'll probably like it this place.
My biggest pet peeve about this place is that they serve (yucky) pre-made salsa from a jar and think that's acceptable. That's fine and all but just don't call yourself and "authentic Mexican grill". If you don't make salsa in house - you should just call yourself Taco Bell.
There's very limited free street parking after 5:30 pm in that area and the rest are pay by the hour (or flat rate at night) lots. -

Terrible! We went here for a birthday dinner. They neglected to tell us when booking our reservation that 19 people or more we would be provided with a small, terrible menu that lacked choice. Not only was the service slow and terrible but our waitress was a complete snot. The blended drinks, were bad tasteless half blended cups of ice chunks, as well as 4 people having to send drinks back due to bugs in them. What the worst part was having to pay 15% gratuity on a 6 choice entrée menu that had terrible rude service.

The beef taco was great but that was it.

Went here as part Birthday party, was hoping for a lot more then provided. The decor was interesting, the food was ok, I am not sure of the blend between out of a jar verus scatch made, but I figure they are leaning towards fast and easy and the taste suffers. The final verdict is I will not repeat the experience.

Nothing great. Annoying servers. Delightfully tacky interior.
