A very good dollar store. Most of the items sold are good to excellent quality. For example, I bought a Lowepro camera bag which normally retails for 20 dollars, and Dollarama sold it for 2 dollars only!

You can buy pretty much anything at Dollarama except for clothes and large electronic items.

I pretty much go here weekly (take that michaels!) lots of great crafting supplies, and I live the cheap housewares. Lots of brand name items here as well! Big fan :)

This dollar store is way better than Dollar Giant - though I have no clue if they are related.

I was buying some simple things - baskets for a gift basket and some cellophane. I must say, those baskets I purchased for only $1.25 were amazing! I can't believe it was such a bargain!

I'll definitely come back when I want some cheap and nice quality items!

Whenever I go shopping for things like household items, cleaners, candy, chocolates, cards, birthday wrapping, cards, toys, kitchen supplies etc. mainly small things, I never think to go to the Dollar store first! And every time I do walk into this dollar store, I'm pleasantly surprised by how much selection they carry! I'll see something and say: "hey! I could have bought that here, for a dollar or two!" Then I admonish myself mentally for not thinking of it earlier :(

I really need to have a mantra that goes along the lines of "can you buy this at Dollarama, before you consider buying it somewhere else?!?" In fact, that should be Dollarama's slogan!

This particular dollar store is immense and way better than Dollar Giant.  It basically has everything Dollar Giant has but more, minus the useless crappy stuff.

So from now on, I will make it a priority to check Dollarama shelves first before I even consider spending a dime anywhere else.

Amazing? Yes. Best Dollar Store I have EVER been in? Without a doubt. Like everyone else who reviewed this place I was blown away by the selection. This Dollarama has everything you could ever need and more (hot pink camping twine anyone?). There were so many neat and useful items I couldn't even focus my attention and only bought one thing, but I will be back! Definitely worth going out of my way to hit up this location.

This is the best dollar store around!  It is a chain, but their products are really good.  Sure, it's a dollar store, so some of it is pretty cheap crap, but for the most part you can get brand name items for super cheap.  It's technically a dollar-plus store, so some items are $1.25 or $2.00 (max price), but if it's not $1 it is clearly labelled as such.

They carry stuff like Ziplock bags, Crest toothpaste, and other brands.  It's a great place for craft supplies, gift wrap, party supplies (3 shot glasses for $1!), hair accessories (why spend $5 on hair elastics when you can get them for a dollar, you're just going to loose them anyways), holiday themed stuff, you name it.  It's also a good place to find cheap planters for your garden, fishing hooks, tent pegs, beach balls, whatever you need for the summer.

This place rarely lets me down, and I often find stuff I would never have expected to find in a dollar store.  In fact, I just got some disposable utensils for a party there and they are made of 100% recycled plastic.  Costco did not have anything like that and the quantities were too big.  Next time I am going to Dollarama first!

Just a note:  They don't take credit cards, but Interac is accepted.  No refunds or exchanges.

This is the best dollar store going. Their selection of arts & crafts supplies is second to none! I have purchased nice card/envelope sets in glorious colours, super scrapbook supplies, all nice and alot more tasteful than the standard dollar store selection. Their food aisle has some great offerings, and housewares has wicked candles and kitchen linens. It's crowded, and always has long line ups, but worth the wait. I always leave with a minimum of 3 bags full, and happy.
