The Dollarama in Jackson Square is always busy. Even with six cash registers open, there is at least ten people waiting in line every minute. And the staff are always trying their best to ring everyone through in a timely fashion. So, if you are looking to just run in and grab a pop or snack, your going to have to wait.
The layout of the store is awkward. Some aisles go vertical, others horizontal, creating confusion amongst customers. I swear, way too many people bump into me at this location (sometimes, I think their just being rude and doing it on purpose to get me out of the checkout line).
The prices are the same as every other Dollarama. However, the selection is massive. You can find just about anything, and everything including loaves of bread at this location.
Also, this has to be the only Dollarama or dollar store in general where they have a security guard walking around at all times.
Overall, this Dollarama is not my favourite. The clientele is scary and aggressive, and I normally just get what I came for, and leave.
