While still called Dolan's pub- a New Owner took over in the fall of 2010. It is still a good place , brings in good bands from around the Maritimes and keeps with the Irish tradition. Good food, great patio over in the Tannery Section of downtown fredericton. On Sunny days, the place is busy. the food is pub selection. Good selection of beer on tap.
It is very busy Thursday night. YOu can be sure of a good time on Saturday. -

It's been quite a few years since I've stopped by here. The place once you enter is a dark cavernous spot with mostly 4 person tables and a few booths.
We stopped for lunch and it was one of those days where it took about 45 min to get our order. Not going to fault them for being short staffed on a tuesday. The staff that was working was very nice, did her best & worked hard.
We had steak sandwich and crunchy chicken wrap with 2 cokes came to 28$. Cheap, but simply not up to standard pub food. The fries tasted a bit on the stale side and the steak sandwich at first tasted good, but was missing something.
I remember why I used to come here: it was for the cheap suds, not for the food. There are a few other options within 100m, I suggest exploring them unless you just want a beer. Or just grab a slice at Luna Pizza once you leave. -

Without the kind hospitality of Linda and Terry Dolan, I would have gone bonkers in Fredrock. Good folks, good pub, good times....

Live music, great service, yummy pub fare, friendly folks in a traditional Irish atmosphere! We love it when everyone has a good time :)
There's lots of cold draughts, Happy Hours, Wine and Martini Specials. Check out our Night Specials from Mon. to Thurs. ~ can't beat those prices!
Our Kitchen Manager loves to create new dishes, so come on by! We'd love to see you!
History
Established in 1994
Linda and Terry Dolan started Dolan's in 1994, and they put their hearts and souls into every aspect of the pub.
Flash forward to 2001, when Barry Hughes and Karen Gibson fell in love at Dolan's while listening to Valdy play.
Then in 2005, Barry, a well-known local musicaian, started the Dolan's Wed. Night Jam, and the wheels started to turn...
In Nov. of 2010, Barry and Karen took the big leap and with the help of Barry's family and his brother Cyril (who used to work at Dolan's), and the blessing of Linda and Terry, they bought the business.
And now, their hearts and souls are pouring into the pub of their dreams!

There's Bobby and Mike C., our fabulous managers who have been here forever, as well as Becky, Glen, Lindsay, Mat, and Colin Dolan behind the bar.
Courtney, Marisa, Melissa, Mike T., Mila, Sarah, and Sondra are on the floor and Kate our Kitchen Manager, Trevor, Mark, and Katie are rocking the kitchen.
