Heather is a clicker guru! I have a 3-year-old pit bull who is very smart and eager to learn, and I was looking around for a class that would challenge her active little brain. Heather came recommended to me and although I didn't know anything about clicker training, I thought it was worth a try.

By the second class I was hooked. Although we were working offleash around other dogs and hyper puppies, my dog's focus on the clicker was razor-sharp and her tail wagged the whole time.

Heather's class is set up so you work independently on the area of your choice, whether it's settling on cue, recall, focus, basic obedience, targeting or party tricks. She's very experienced and used to working with strong breeds, so she's seen it all and can help you find ways to communicate with your dog and shape the behaviour you want.

The class and the background reading will give you a firm foundation in clicker training so that you can use it at home, and she encourages you to come back for drop-in refresher sessions.

My favourite part was seeing my dog so happy to be learning. Heather's approach teaches you how to communicate with your dog, work as a team, and have a LOT of fun.
