Dog & Pony Sound are the best organizers and hosts of karaoke in Ottawa. They have the largest library and they host karaoke nights at bars from all over town. Almost every night, they're featured at two or three of these bars: Swizzles, The Arrow and Loon, GoGo's, Edge Pub, Royal Britannia, The LookOut, Bytowne Tavern, Royal Oak, O'Brien's, Puzzles and Cock & Lion.
The hosts are super outgoing; I've only encountered a rather lame (bad lame) host once. There's no charge, just bring your singing voice and some money for liquid courage. My favourite location for Dog & Pony is at Swizzles, but since they just started Saturday night karaoke at the Arrow and the Loon, I may have to check that out as well.
