A fun little place to stop in when you are shopping in nearby Lincolnwood Produce. They do not adhere to the Dollar Store concept so they can carry a different selection of stuff by selling for over a dollar. As the other reviewer mentioned, there are some nice Middle Eastern items (I'm guessing the owners are Assyrians). It is also a good place to buy gift bags for party gifts.

Their simple and straightforward name tells you little about the store. It looks from afar like a dollar bill store. They do have merchandise for a dollar. Most of the dollar items are for personal hygiene (shampoos, toothpaste, combs etc...)They sell many items that are household related; pots, pans, rugs, cookware sets, silverware. I have been to other stores like this. You have to be sure to check every price tag and your reciept to make sure it matches up. I was not offered a reciept, but I usually (and should always) ask for one. It has a European/Middle Eastern flair to it, which is fine by me. I smiled to myself because WLUP was on in the backround.
