Awesome shop.
Prices may be a little high but quality is outstanding. Super trendy street-wear fashion and staff is super personable.
Very professional. -

The spring sells post on every wall and streetpost in Robson and the need for a new hat made step foot in dipt. The shop itself was well stocked with all the familar brands, but I looking for a hat that wasn't Canucks related and I found that with the Vancity collect that they had in stock.
Pros:
Great location
One stop for haircut and treads
Background music was onpoint.
Cons:
Large staff for a small shop.
Although there was a sell you have to include HST to the overall total.
There was no digital inventory of what was in stock. -

Sick place for urban and Vancity Original gear but that's about it. Staff is whack and arrogant and thinks cuz they work in a cool shop who gives a sh!t about customer service. Worse, the sketchy sales dude tried to scam $10 off my friend's bill yesterday (July 23). My friend bought a $29 top and a $39 hat. We didn't realized he scanned both the caps and not the top. As soon as we left the shop my friend checked her receipt. We quickly returned back and he rudely deny it first but then was like..Oh well my bad...And instead of charging the $10 back to her credit card (which is standard to all legitimate retail stores) the dude just gave her $10 cash...SKETCHY!
So warning to yall shopping here better check your receipts before u leave the store. Better yet, if you don't like being scammed and getting serious whack attitude...shop elsewhere. In all honesty, I get way better service at Paul's Boutique, almost the same selection except for the Vancity gear. -

DipT is a necessary evil for me at times. As a sneakerhead, they probably have the biggest selection of Jordans and AF1s in Vancouver. They also stock a lot of accessories and gear (from custom fitteds to Crooks/TBG to LRG/Enyce/Rocawear) in a lot of sizes.
However, I hate setting foot in this store. The staff breathes down your neck and will not shut up when you're just trying to shop (even after you tell them you'll let them know if they can help -- shopper code for 'back the f*ck off'). I'm not sure if they are just trying to mark you for commission, trying to get rid of looky-loos, trying to impress on you how 'hood' they are or they are just bored and overstaffed. No, I don't need you to tell me how much you like the hat/kicks I'm wearing and I don't need you commenting on every item I'm looking at.
But beyond this, twice I've been screwed over by their lack of accountability. I've called ahead to check their stock and ask them to place an item on hold til closing (not many boutiques do this - but they say it's not a problem). The 1st time, it was a hoodie and when I went to pay for it, I noticed the cashier was trying to conceal the tags, so I asked to double-check the item. They tried to sell me a hoodie a size smaller than what I placed on hold. When I called them out on it, they admitted their error and said they sold my size and offered a discount. Okay - not happy - but I can see how that can happen - but you really tried to bait and switch me?
The second time, I called ahead to place a pair of kicks on hold. I called an hour before driving down there to confirm my kicks were still there and in the proper size and even took down my number. They said 'come on down'. I get there and 'Whoops - we misread the box - we have them on hold for someone else already - would you like a size smaller?' No apology given and did they expect me to get foot surgery to amputate my toes? Luckily, I was able to score my pair from Livestock.
Stay away unless they have stock on something that absolutely no one else in town has -- and Livestock, Complex and Goodfoot have this place crushed most of the time.Listed in: Shots Fired, Addicted to Fresh

I have to admit, this place surprised me, in a good way. The quality of what they carried was much better than I expected. The available sizes were good too. It's also nice that they're located conveniently in the heart of downtown, which is great for visitors like myself. I've been to Dipt more than any other streetwear shop in Van, just because when I'm not staying with friends, I always book a hotel right in that area. I'm not always able to make it further out to where some of the other shops are located.

they carry a lot of urban brands and some limited ed. sneaks. they were kind enough to ship int'l back down to seattle with just a phone call too. with the exchange rate back in our favor (USA! USA! USA!) it's time to head back up and try to find some gear. a quick 2 1/2hr drive from seattle up there is still cheaper than flying to nyc to get fly. even if their tax is 14%.
