A beautiful October Saturday here.
The ferry costs $9 return and drops you right at the Pub.
Walked around Protection Island first before though, to work up an appetite.
The Halibut and Chips were First Rate incredible, portion was large and the choice of beverages aplenty.

My friends in Nanaimo brought me here for dinner, and it was great! I found it very interesting that you have to take a ferry over to it. If you have your own boat, you can park right at the pub too!
Their fries are one of the best I've ever had! They serve nice portions, and their service is great. It's was such a great experience to come over and eat outside. If a boat rides by too fast, the place will rock with the waves.
I hope to go again the next time I visit my friends in Nanaimo. If you have the time to take a ferry, or have your own boat, I would recommend coming here.
