    Yes, I am old-fashioned and still rent DVDs.
    This DVD rental store (also offers laptop repairs and computer accessories) at lower Simcoe and Queens Quay just opened a couple days ago. After the recent closing of The Video Store on Queens Quay, I'm glad that there's now a movie rental option in the neighbourhood other than the tiny selection at York Quay Fine Foods.
    It's in the same space where Mr. Movie used to be and it looks pretty much the same. I went in yesterday and chatted with the owner, Lawrence Tam. He explains that they've been open for a while but have been growing their DVD collection leading up to the Grand Opening on May 8. The selection is decent, but not as good as Mr. Movie was. Tam is very helpful and friendly though. I rented "Up in the Air" and he told me how much he liked it and recommended I watch the deleted scenes with the director's commentary.
    New releases are $5 (tax incl.) for 1 day. Regular movies are 3 day rentals.
