Review from Hung N.
Wanted a pizza that I could only eat in Canada. Why not go for the one labeled "Canada's Best Pizza 2006"
I went with Big D's Bodacious BLT...it was a like BLT with capicolla ham, ranch, cheddar and mozza...What made it truly Canadian was the Moosehead beer crust. Was it good...Yes...fresh tasting ingredients and textureley cool with the lettuce on top...Just not awesome as I'd hope...beer crust didn't taste different...no pizza sauce so a bit dry...and its spendy... -

It's located in the Southglen Shopping Centre as a take out/delivery operation. You can also buy pizza dough and assorted pizzas from their freezer. They deliver pizza but not to the entire city. They sell fully cooked and take and bake pizzas, the latter is a good if you live far away from here. But I found that the take and bake pizzas didn't taste as good as as the fully cooked ones (they probably have a better oven) so I recommend getting the cooked ones and just reheat at home.
Their pizzas are probably the most expensive in the city but you can tell that they use fresh quality ingredients so I understand their pricing. Don't be shocked that a single 12" pizza will range between $19-$27 depending on the toppings (and they have no 2 for 1 deals).
I've had Diana's pizza a few times now and I'm still on the fence. I like that their pizzas are not greasy at all; it actually tastes healthy. Their marinara sauce is quite good. I like that you can choose different crusts, cheeses and sauces for your pizza. They even offer gluten free crusts. I've tried their various crusts - whole wheat, original and the Moosehead beer. A good crust is important and none of the ones here wow me so this is probably why I am indifferent to their pizzas.
The classic vegetarian is topped with mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes and red onions ($18.99 for 12"). It tastes like a garden so that can be good or bad depending on your perspective. It tasted like a bland salad to me but I'm sure someone likes that. I liked the pizza I made ($21.99) - 12" medium crust, marinara sauce, garlic 'n chive havarti cheese with seasoned chicken, spinach, jalapenos and roasted red peppers. Lots of great toppings on top with good flavour.
The place is run by a lot of young kids so service is pretty dismal. The first time I made an order for two pizzas but the order was all mixed up as some items were switched between the two.
Overall, if you want a greasy caloric filled pizza for a good price - this is not the place. But if you want to pay for quality ingredients and want a healthy pizza then Diana's is for you. -

We have been here a quite few time both at there old, and their current location, 1st time we went and ordered at the store, and the wait was a lot longer then my expectations. The next few time we ordered ahead, and still ended up waiting for the pizza after the time they said it would be ready. We have for that last year confined our dropping by here to picking up one of there many pizza dough and making it up at home. The food is good, the price is a little bit high, and without the longer waits I would give the place a better rating
