    I am updating my comments on DHL Express Canada. I am changing my rating of a 1 out of 5 to a 3 out of 5.

    Initial Service - 1 out of 5

    Response Rate From Leadership - 5 out of 5

    Overall - 3 out of 5 (FINAL UPDATE - I am a stickler for customer service and the fact that someone in a leadership function called me tonight to explain the situation was most appreciated - For that I am moving this ranking to a 4 out of 5)

    We had issues receiving the package and were told to wait for a delivery on three days where the package never came. Finally, I was able to reach out to someone in a leadership position and they were very receptive and the next day we were contacted twice and our delivery arrived in the afternoon.

    I can tell that the DHL leadership team cares about their service due to the quick response, so I have decided that I will give them another try in the future when I need express delivery. WIth that said, I hope the leadership team will take steps to improve their overall service quality from initial contact.

    I give DHL .00001 of a star actually!  Please note this review is not specific to this DHL location but for the company's "customer service" hotline.

    I was expecting a parcel from the U.S and being the OCD person I am,  I was frequently checking my tracking updates when I noticed that the updates were behind a day and then subsequently I started to freak out when the tracking actually stated that my parcel was "successfully delivered" when in truth I had no package in my possession!!!  

    Now the tricky thing was my parcel was in DHL's care within the US and then given to Canada Post for delivery once it reached Canada.  Well once I called DHL to report my package as non-delivered the callous-toned woman who I spoke with pretty much kept parlaying the blame back on Canada Post and in a nutshell gave the impression that I was shit out of luck and did nothing to help me facilitate a trace. By comparison the people I spoke with from Canada Post were calm and kept suggesting I follow up with the sender and also suggested I wait a day or two as they explained that sometimes delivery tracking updates are prescanned and backlogged.  

    In the end I got my package, only because a neighbour was kind enough to give it to me as it was DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS.

    Needless to say I'm vehemently disappointed with the utter lack of customer supportive services from DHL's end and I felt like their handling of my issue sounded more like a defensive and defiant FU, than a collected and levelheaded "we will see what we can do for you"

    Had a DHL Package Shipped from Seattle using their Express Worldwide Service on a Friday afternoon (Day 1).

    The service notes a service guarantee of next business day and costs a pretty penny ~$70 for a 2lb parcel

    Day 2 - Attempted delivery (note left).  Called in to see where I could pickup the package - unlike any of the courier, no option for this without waiting 2 days (why would I bother with next day shipping then?).  OK - redirect to my office

    Day 3 - Attempted delivery.... at the original location?!?

    Day 4 - Attempted delivery.... at the original location again?!?  Called in to see what was going on - nobody knows.  Office address was updated, but not used?  Can't pickup packaged unless you drive

    Will Business Day 5 finally be the day of delivery for next business day service? To be continued......

    Absolute worst service I have ever had from a delivery company.
