So you want to get your hair 'did' but you don't want to spend an arm and a leg? Let me suggest to you the Devog Academy of Hair Design School & Salon. They have a professional side but my experience has mainly been with the school because it's much more inexpensive.
Let's start with the Cons: You will be there A LONG TIME depending on what services you've selected. (I always get the 911 = Wash,Cut, Color, Foils, Style) but it's to be expected because you are with a student their basic cuts/color etc has to be checked by instructor several steps along the way.
Pros: Price is one. The 911 for instance is anywhere between $60-80 and that's for everything. They care, that's another thing these ladies and gentlemen are trying to gain skills to start a career you are their client and they want to please you even though they aren't getting paid to (tip them, service jobs are hard enough these days!!. ) They care, I know I just said this but they will correct things if your not happy (never had that problem always love it go twice a year)
