Devil May Wear has an amazing business ethic and is a strong local business focused on building an amazing, supportive community... AND they have great clothes!

The designer and owner, Stef, is one of the most hardworking people I've ever met. She designs and creates almost everything in the entire store save a few exceptions, such as the Silver jeans they carry.

I own a few pieces from Devil May Wear and I can't say enough nice things about them. Stef uses a lot of sustainable fabrics like organic cotton, hemp, bamboo, and wool blends and her clothes are soft and comfortable.

I can't say enough nice things about her bamboo leggings (as a girl who wears a lot of dresses, in the winter I need some good leggings) and I own three pairs. I find them versatile enough to pair under tunics, dresses, and to wear on their own for jogging and hiking. She makes great underwear as well and just expanded on her line to create some cute, skimpy, lacy matching pairs.

She's got beautiful dresses and other pieces as well in addition to a great selection of menswear. She manages to find a great balance between semi-conservative, comfortable, and super cute for her pieces.

Her staff is lovely and friendly as well. Devil May Wear is a strong player on the stage of Main Street Fashion.

Her store also carries jewellery, knitted products, woven scarves, and cute hair accessories.

This local powerhouse deserves all the support it can get!

We were walking out of The Regional Assembly of Text and we saw this place across the street. We walked in and my lady grabbed an armful of clothes right away. Cute styles and a really friendly woman helping us. The clothes have an incredible fit to them, the designer does a great job!

I've been a fan of this local designer for a while now and I'm glad to see she's settled nicely into her store's new location. It's much bigger, brighter and visible from the street.

This is a great place for all sorts of fashion finds - from jewelry to jackets or panties and pasties. There are some good opportunities to score some advanced boyfriend gift-giving points here.

If you find yourself talking to a gorgeous redhead behind the counter, that's the owner Stephanie. She's awesome and will chat your ear off.

I was so happy to stumble across Devil May Wear last week when I was trolling Main Street with my mama.

I first came across this tiny little store  when I found myself "stranded" on Main street one very wet Saturday late last year. Since then, further efforts to revisist and take out of town girlfriends has ended in frustration and confusion at not being able to find my way back there.

But I had been foiled! Devil May Wear had not closed down, they'd moved: around the corner and up the block to 3957 Main Street.
And boy, was I glad to have found them. They still stock the same great stuff, just more of it and in a much, much bigger space! The staff are as friendly as ever and the selection spans all budgets.

Yeah! For Devil May Wear moving around the corner to bigger digs.

Although the store may have only opened a year ago, Steph Ostler's Devil May Wear brand has been in existence for the past 5 years, starting out with fabulously cute, ruffled undies and bamboo tights and morphed into a cult-followed line of must-have basics and unique pieces.  This tiny store also carries a number of independent local and international design labels from Free People to Andy Dixon and beyond, along with a number of shiny baubles and gorgeous accessories.  Most of the designs are made with sustainable, natural fabrics, an enviable trend seen locally and internationally as of late.  I adore the vibe of this store, with its design boutique atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, its a treat to peruse the clothes here.
