My favorite gift store in Winnipeg, possibly the entire universe. I live in the states and have traveled all over but never have I found a store with as many unique gift items as Desart. Their stock ranges from cute and kitschy to fancy and elegant and over Christmas they have some of the weirdest ornaments I have ever seen. I have looked and looked for a store that sells similar ornaments in my hometown of Denver but there is a reason Desart stands out. Why oh why don't you have an online store!?

This is a great store to get pick up some interesting gifts for everyone. This store has several sections dedicated to small kitchen items, baby items, toys, accessories like jewelery and scarves for women, cute cards for all occasions and small decorative items. Kinda hard to describe and likely sounds like a mish mash of stuff but it's not as crazy as it sounds. I think it's a great place to pick up an interesting gift that may not be found at every other store in the city.
