Let's all welcome probably the worst American breakfast chain known as Denny's to London. When I first noticed we had a Denny's about a week or so ago and thought I would give it a try because I heard it was good in the States? but boy was I ever wrong. When we walked in the restaurant itself looked pretty busy but we were seated right away, The server came pretty quick and took our drink orders, she was even very friendly! But there's where it starts to go downhill. No word of a lie the three of us waited an hour for our breakfast meals to come out to the table, Now they just opened about a week prior to our visit so I'm not sure if they were just working out the kinks or what but really an hour for breakfast!? And also when being seated nothing was mentioned to us about the hour wait time to be served.
Anyways when the food finally arrived it was more shock n' awe. My chicken fried steak was clearly some pre-packaged piece of crap and definitely not freshly battered, tasted very similar to one of those TV dinners that some people call food. Not to mention the portions were ridiculously tiny, All three of us actually left hungry! Then the bill came, $15 each for breakfast!? Who are you kidding honestly. Avoid this place like the plague because it's most definitely not worth your time or money. My friend who ordered the skillet actually got sick from it as well! I will not be anywhere near another Denny's that's for sure.
