it's worth the sleuthing to find this spot tucked away in Oak Bay. homemade breads, muffins, cookies... you name it!
Grab a panini or a handmade spinach and feta roll, or spinach and brie and ham, or a slice of their daily pizza or just a big slice of lemon bar and take it with your espresso to the little patio to enjoy the ambiance of the beautiful secret garden like plants that are for sale around the outside. It's a secret oasis that I frequent weekly.
I heard a rumour that if you go on a friday there is a BBQ special. I'm sure it's out of this world too! -

Eclectic is a good way to describe Demitasse. As the previous reviewer noted, you can buy anything from pastry to pizza to potted plants, and it's all good. The pizza and curry pockets are really good and taste even better when eaten at the tables/benches that cozy up to the plants.

I love that I can wander a short way in a seemingly out of the way neighbourhood and end up here. The coffee is great and so are many of the baked good and pizza slices. They also have some grocery items and candy like an old fashioned corner store. And did I mention they sell plants too?
