I too had a very bad experience with this company. Their way of doing business is back handed, never stating the actual fees they intend to charge, and actually lying about what they will charge.
One thing is to omit telling you the real cost, and including hidden charges in fine print, but another is to lie to your face saying THEY WILL ONLY CHARGE SO MUCH, when they know they intend to hose you.
I had to take them to the Ontario Landlord and Tenants Board. They have not returned my Security Deposit which I have learned since was ILLEGAL for them to charge me.
I am surprised they are still in business, I see complaints online going back more than 5 years.

Warning: I arranged to rent a "luxury furnished apartment" from this group for a month's stay in Toronto. The apartment they delivered was subpar (NOT) what was in the pictures, and they hosed me with extra fees and charges that were not what we discussed prior to my arrival in Toronto - unfortunately I was stuck since I had flown in an needed a place to stay. In addition to this they never reported my tenancy to the property management, putting me at personal risk if there were any incident while I was occupying the unit.
Stay away, or, if you must deal with these guys, be sure to bring your lawyer with you when signing over any tenancy agreement.
