You can tell how hip I am because I was a member of the Delaney Bowl league when I was in public school.  Yeah, I threw rocks of the five-pin variety.  I hadn't thought of the place in years until my brother suggested that we hit the lanes last time we were in town.  It's changed a bit now.

Still a five-pin lane, it's been tidied up a bit since I was last there.  Oh, and now it's licensed for beer sales.  Strike!  The layout and design of the place is still the same.  It was originally a movie theatre and was converted to bowling lanes later on.  As such, you walk into a foyer, and break either left or right up ramps to the lanes.  A night of entertainment is really reasonable and relatively inexpensive.  The snack bar food is edible (remember, this is a bowling alley) and the beer cold.  What's not to like?
