Review from Ben B.
This place is so funny. I mean, I love a good home business operation and all, but this little dog grooming boutique is part of the same house complex that includes a strangely alluring Happy Face museum (set up in their garage...) in the middle of downtown Dartmouth.
Anyhow, during a year of living just across the street from this building and walking by it every day with a brand new puppy, I figured it could be a convenient nail-clipping spot that I could just duck into at the end of a walk when the pup was a little too tired to worry about a stranger grabbing his paws. And you know what? Not so bad!
The price, first of all, is completely ridiculous. She would do a nail trim for $2. That's it. Two bucks. Amazing considering some places it's up to $2 PER NAIL. She wasn't exactly warm and fuzzy, but with my help to calm down a not-so-willing patient, she managed perfectly fine especially considering it was - and I can't stress this enough - ONLY TWO DOLLARS.
The place? Well, it's a backroom on their house. So it's nothing fancy and you probably wouldn't want to hang out there but for a five minute visit it's completely manageable. Plus whenever I called she only ever needed 15 minutes notice so it's worth a shot if you really just need to get the nail situation under control.Listed in: Yuppie Pet Owners Unite!
