Review from Jennifer M.
When I first checked in, they gave us a room in the old, run down, dirty cheap motel section. It was so disgusting, it looked like it should be rented by the hour. We went up to the front desk and asked that our room be moved to the tower, and they had no problem doing. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Make sure you demand up front that you want a room in the tower.
The rooms were newly renovated and CLEAN! If I recall correctly, my room had some sort of balcony. We spent hardly any time in the room anyway because it was so conveniently located in walking distance to EVERYTHING!! The casino was directly across the street and Niagara Falls were just a few minutes away. What really gives this hotel a 5star rating is the amazing and wonderful service I received. After I had returned home from my trip, I realized that I lost one of my favorite coats. I was freaking out looking all over for it and I decided to call the hotel just for shits& giggles to see if they found it.....well they did. The girl was so nice, she actually mailed me my jacket back. I will never forget the ever so rare display of kindness and compassion the employee had, I sent a thank you card because I was floored. The rates were also extremely low. I couldn't say enough good things about the place. Anyone planning a trip to Niagara falls, definitely stay here.Listed in: THE CREAM OF THE CROP

Review from Cecilia L.
I recently stayed at this hotel for a bachelorette party, and while the rooms themselves were fine (we were in the tower), the staff was incompetent and very rude! In fact, most people that we encountered in Clifton Hill were extremely rude and seemed to resent that they were working in a tourist trap! As a resident of nearby Buffalo, NY, I was very surprised by this, as these people would not have jobs if it were not for their out of town guests.
Back to the hotel.. When we made our reservation, we requested two adjacent rooms, as we all wanted to be close to our bride-to-be. We checked in without any problem and were given our room keys. However, once we got to our rooms, we discovered that one of the rooms was already occupied! The hotel is extremely lucky that we are honest people and did not take advantage of the other guests whose room key we were given! When we went back to the desk to inform them of the error, the employees were extremely unapologetic and rude, and they claimed that the employee who checked in the other guests was new and was still training. From the tone of the conversation, I assume it is protocol at this hotel to allow a new hire to work unsupervised.
Because of this error, we were unable to get adjacent rooms. Once more, the staff was unconcerned about this. To add insult to injury, the hotel manager (who was not there in the evening when this happened), was extremely rude and unapologetic the following morning when approached. We were in no way rude or abusive, but she acted as if she was doing us a huge favor by even allowing us to stay in her hotel.
As someone who frequently entertains out of town guests, I will make sure to dissuade them from staying in this hotel! -
Review from Dane K.
After a really bad Days Inn experience, I created a new rule: no more Days Inn... but we were in Niagara looking for a cheap hotel for a night, and found this place online for $35 CAD. Reviews were OK, and they just rehabbed the entire tower. I think parking may have been $10 extra.
An important catch:
They have an outdoor motel section that's old, and a tower that's rehabbed. Get a room in the tower. Also the tower faces the street and gives you a slight view. The room was brand new rehabbed, and pretty decent. And most importantly, it was very clean. We had *two* king beds, which was odd. (I suppose it's possible though they've rehabbed the motel section since, but who knows).
I wouldn't rely on it being "falls view" or pay anything extra, because frankly it's not that close to the view.
They have a chain restaurant in the lobby (Applebee's?) which I didn't bother to feel the need to check out.
It's across the street from the Clifton Hill casino and other attractions nearby (which seem to be more kid-oriented on the Clifton Hill side..).
I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here unless it was cheap, but for the price it was a great deal.
