We have stayed here many of times. It has changed names many times as well. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a fridge in them. The free breakfast in the morning is more then you get a lot of places. There is a Mexican restaurant in the parking lot that is good and open late.

We generally stay here when in town as it's a good deal and a clean hotel.

The Days Inn is a 2 star hotel and it deserves both of them.

I chose this place because it is cheap and it has an indoor pool.  For what you're paying for its a good deal.  It wasn't loud, it was fairly clean, there are fridges and microwaves in the room, the cable is good.

The website says the pool is heated and I don't doubt that it is, but they must have the heater shut off.  It was quite chilly.

The beds are really small.  I made this trip without my husband and it is probably a good thing; we would not have been comfortable sleeping together in the bed and we are not big people.

The soaps are crappy which doesn't take away, but awesome soaps definitely add.  The shower had good water pressure.  My 10yo girl clogged the toilet, I think this says something about the toilet functioning more than my girl's in this sitch.

The desk people were VERY friendly and helpful.  The free breakfast was basically waffles and juice, unless you dig those crappy muffins that every hotel seems to use, but again its listed as a 2 star hotel so it ain't gonna be the Ritz!

There were a couple of really creepy dudes that I felt very uncomfortable with.  One approached my daughter (she sits outside the room door, with the door blocked open and plays on the laptop while I put the baby to sleep so that she doesn't have to be extra quiet) and blocked our door with his body and kept trying to get her to let him "help" her.  She told him to get lost and he did-into the room next door, of which he kept slamming the door, that was a long night.  There was also a man sitting in the 95 degree pool room fully clothed and alone staring at my daughter.  I had stepped out for a moment to change the baby's diaper and he was there when I returned and left as soon as I came in.

I will not be staying there again after the creepy jerks, but this probably has nothing to do with the hotel itself and its a good deal if you're looking for a place to get some sleep and maybe have a swim.  No hot tub though.

All's I'm sayin' is ..... it ain't much, but we're dry and warm (in our very dusty room) and off I-380 having aborted our ill fated attempted to drive from the Cedar Rapids airport to Waterloo in a snowstorm.
