I've been going to this dentist for a while now, and some of my co-workers have used this dentist as well. I can tell you that not once have I had a problem with my insurance coverage or payment. They send me a pre-estimate of any appointment, so I know what's covered and what I'll need to pay upon completion off the appointment. I also always ask about insurance coverage before booking any appointment, so I can avoid surprises.
AND they file my paperwork for me. YEAY!!!
I've always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I ask a lot of questions, and they have answered them all without a doubt.
The dentist himself is a really nice man, who has done quite a bit of work to help fix my teeth. I come from a line of famiy members who have not-so good teeth...and my dad has always said "get it done as early as possible! Use as much of your insurance as you can!" ...which is basically what I've been doing. The dentist and his team have helped nip any cavities in the bud before they get worse.
It is expensive (what isn't these days), but it's very much worth it.
Their equipment is up-to-date and the place is always very clean.
The big plus for me, is the fact that this dentist and his team are very gentle. It's nice to hear reminders that "if it hurts or if your uncomfortable, just tell us and we'll stop". My previous dentist experience has been quite rough it seems, as I can remember walking away from cleaning having very sore gums from the assistant jamming the floss too deep, and also some bleeding. I can remember having a cavity filled and feeling quite sore afterwords.
No pain or soreness from this place.
The way they conduct this place, makes me feel like there is no pressure to do anything if I don't (or simply can't due to money).
I'm a fan, I will keep coming to this place :) -

Be careful of visiting this place. On my first visit I was scheduled for a cleaning, but before the cleaning the dentist did the usual x-ray and check up (which is the opposite of what I have experienced from other dental clinics). Also, the dentist did my cleaning and there was no hygienist at the time. The dentist also took close up pictures of each tooth which was shown on the computer screen. Obviously, since he took them before the cleaning my teeth did not look perfectly clean. The dentist said: this teeth is yellow, it has staining, it needs to be filled to prevent cavities. I almost believed him but he wanted to do it for the majority of my teeth. After hearing this, I felt a little hesitant and thought that it would be best to get a second opinion. So I went to a different dentist, got my second opinion from HighGate Dental and the dentist there told me that my teeth is perfectly healthy and fine!
Thank goodness, I got that second opinion! The dentist from Dawson Dental just wanted to drill holes in my teeth to obviously make money! I truly question his morals, if he has any! Unfortunately, my friend got tricked my this dentist and without any cavities he told me that he got filling and that the dentist wants to do more. WOW! well I told my friend my story and to get a second opinion and so he did and he is very thankful as well as pissed off from getting ripped off by Dawson Dental!
