I love loose leaf tea.
This place made my day.
I don't speak French, but the woman that helped me pick some teas was wonderful. She answered all of my questions and let me smell lots of teas. Everything smelled so yummy!
I left here with three new teas and a new mug. The service was way better than any Teavana store in the states. The staff take their time with you, let you buy pretty small amounts, and don't pressure you to buy more than you want.
Now, I'm back in the states happily sipping tea. Thanks to the staff at David's Tea for making my day yesterday! I'll be sure to stop in if I visit Quebec City again, until then, I'll be shopping online! -

I stopped in yesterday for an afternoon pick-me-up after wandering around Vieux Quebec in a bit of a drizzle. What a great place! As soon as I walked in, someone said hello and offered me the opportunity to taste two of their teas. I wouldn't normally have done so, but she was so enthusiastic, I couldn't say no. SOOOOO glad I didn't! I've found my new favourite herbal tea: Bravissimo, an amazing blend of licorice, chamomile, rosehip, orange peel and peppermint, and goji berries. Seriously, I've drank more than 10 cups of it in the last 12 hours and can't get enough! And, they've just started delivering across North America for a $5 flat fee, so that works for me to keep the Bravissimo flowing from Quebec to the West Coast.
My Darjeeling-to-go was good too.
