This is where you'll find me with a beverage and book on a sunny afternoon, or chasing after tennis balls if I've woken up early enough to score one of the two courts. Every now and the there's an extreme high tide that laps up and floods the seawall a bit which I find mesmerizing for some reason.

There's a big field where people set up volleyball courts in the summer and play soccer year round, two basketball courts, two tennis courts (really not enough considering the density of Yaletown), and a playground. The park is also bordered on one end by the Roundhouse community center where there is generally a cool event or art show happening.

Some BC Trivia first: David Lam was a British Columbia Lt. Governor.

This is a beautiful downtown park that you can walk through on the seawall. At sunset, it is at it's most romantic as the entire Westside absolutely glows and reflects in the creek. There are areas for sports and the field is always active with players and dogs.

There's a few interesting art pieces that you can view in and around the park, including a phallic rocket in False Creek. My favourite is the tiles with pictures of people's homes. It's above the benches that look towards the creek.

It's really close to Yaletown and a great place to sit in the sun or exercise your pet.
