David A. Balfour Park is a bit off the beaten path, but once you're able to find it, it's a great place to stroll or walk a dog. It's more of a nature trail, and it follows a ravine from just south of Mount Pleasant Cemetery to Roxborough Drive. It cuts under big bridges on St. Clair Avenue and the train tracks near Summerhill, which can be haunts of bums and teenage punks (the train tracks can be used as an illegal pedestrian shortcut over Mt. Pleasant Road).

Parts aren't bad for mountain biking too, but it can be treacherous if conditions aren't good. I tried biking it once after it had rained the previous night, and had to give up after slipping and sliding down some of the steep roadways that lead to the park.
