The noodles and chicken are really good, but the service is not so good.  I don't really enjoy being rushed and then having to wait forever for service.  It does't make much sense.  Overall, it kind of reads that you don't really want me there, so even though you have decent food, I should probably spend my money elsewhere...

I have to admit that I found the chicken that we ordered to be way over the top sweet.

    * Inside flesh digested love sticks *

Some things just don't translate well.  Things such as the menu of this Korean chicken hof chain.

This is a fairly modern looking and very clean restaurant, with all the markings of a franchise chain.

The walls are covered with various company slogans and random bits of English writing.  The tabletop reminds you exactly where you are, just in case you happen to forget.  Photo:  http://www.yelp.ca/biz...

The menu is just loaded with "interesting" Engrish.  I'm still not exactly sure what "inside flesh digested chicken" is exactly.  But they do specialize in it.  And one of the inside flesh digested chicken options is "love stick."  So if you absolutely are craving a good inside flesh digested love stick, this is definitely your place, as I haven't seen that on offer anyplace else!  Photo of the interesting menu:  http://www.yelp.ca/biz...

I ordered the yangnyeom dak (spicy sweet fried chicken).  The half order was still quite large.  It was the typical bright colour and speckled with white sesame seeds.  The chicken itself was breaded a bit thicker than other versions I've had (and preferred), and the sauce was a bit more corn starch laden.  The heat was not mixed complexly with the sweet and inside were almost separate flavour profiles.  Hard to describe, but it was as if the sauce wasn't allowed to cook and totally mesh its flavours properly.  The chicken was moist on the inside, and I didn't notice any "pre-digestion" of the inside meat (I'm still wondering what the heck inside flesh digested chicken is!).    Photos:  http://www.yelp.ca/biz... and http://www.yelp.ca/biz...

The simple set of included sides were pickled daikon, which was very lightly vinegared (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...) and a thinly sliced fresh cabbage salad with an almost French dressing like sauce (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...).

Service was extremely friendly and very quick too.

Not a terrible spot, but I do prefer the chicken at Happy Day:  http://www.yelp.ca/biz... quite a bit more.

Bonus points for a menu and wall writings which gave me a little chuckle inside (and yet thankfully did not digest my inside flesh love stick)!

P.S.  Apparently with a bit more searching it appears their Korean branches also offer, "Innocent family" chicken:  http://www.flickr.com/...  I wonder if that is an innocent family of chickens?  Or chicken for innocent families?  Hm.....

Recently opened. Suppose to be a new franchise chicken restaurant from Korea. I know this restaurant was a success in Korea. The overall interior design is clean but their prices for fried chicken are at least $15 for a dish. Since recently opened, they were only accepting cash, but no radish or pickles :/ The food was.... TOO SALTY especially Yangnyeom chicken was too salty and too spicy like a pure korean spicy sauce flavor (go-choo-jang) and a bit sweet at the same time which was a horrible combination.
