If you've ever walked up and down Granville, and you know you have, you have almost definitely noticed the garish clothing and mannequins massively equipped in the breast region. This has either made you one of two things: want to run away, or go right on in.
If you were in the first category, suck it up, princess! Dare to Wear is AWESOME, even for people who don't strip (like me!). They actually have a lot of really nice stuff, that for some reason they very rarely showcase in their window display. If you're looking for 'stripper heels', or any shoewear for a fetish or dress-up night, this is a good place to look. They also have a huge selection of stockings for any occasion, pretty jewellery, cheap (not just in price, mind you) corsets for those who don't want to sink the money into a steel boned one.
If you're not 'alternative or a stripper', this store likely won't have much for you, but hey, you never know what you might find! So check it out, sissies! -

When you walk by this place you can't help but notice that the mannequins in the window have the huggest tits of any mannequin you have ever seen! Sometimes the cameltoes in the display are almost appauling, but it's impossible not to be sucked in by this window display teasing you, it really is like a car crash. You can pretend not to look, but the drool from your slightly ajar mouth speaks for itself.
I came in and finally bought the faux diamond collar I had been oogling for years (srsly years.) It was about $70 after tax, which is why I had trouble rationalizing the big spend, but it's not like I will be buying real diamonds anytime soon, so I might as well live vicariously with fake ones. The sales lady took the different styles out of the display case and let me try them all on, which made me feel even more glamourous, and I ended up getting the choker with 3 rows of diamonds, they are a girl's best friend after all.
Dare to Wear has an wide variety of stockings and fishnets, all for reasonable prices and a giant selection of stripper-esc clothes. Some of the clothes are pretty hideous, and pretty cheaply made, but please remember, they probably don't stay on that long. So even though "ooops the botton on my blouse popped off" may seem like something you would be disgruntled by at a normal clothing store, at Dare to Wear it actually serves more of a purpose.... easy access. And they carry a small selection of shoes, including Bordello shoes, rawr! Check this place out, but try to maintain your composure when doing so.Listed in: Tips from the Halloween Queen

Always friendly and helpful.
Large selection of stockings,shoes, fishnets, corsets (not the best quality but ok for a night out ) school girl outfits, stripper wear and all sorts of other fun stuff to dress up in for that night in, a photo/ video shoot or for fetish clubbing.

Oh yes, Dare to Wear. I see everyone here is a bit shy to acknowledge our raunchy, kooky Granville neighbour. Well, this store can't be missed, just look for the scantily clad, stripper-looking mannequins in the display. My friend and I often come here for a laugh - and it is pretty fun in here. So if you're looking for something to spice things up, or are er... experimenting with adult entertainment, this place sells lingerie, stockings, halloween costumes, dress-up costumes and yes, clear platform shoes. And many other "special occasion" shoes. Stock here is very tacky, almost all of it. Some of the swimsuits are OK, though few, and some lingerie is passable, but the quality is usually pretty poor. The store however is pretty nicely organized, feels spacious, and the staff is polite and lets you browse uninterrupted. I guess you can find something for weddings, the garter belts, I believe they're called. They're open pretty late... in case someone needs something last minute for the nightclub? I guess?
