Great selection of craft beer and the staff really seem to know their stuff. I was in the other day and even though it was super busy, the young young guy behind the counter offered to get a cold bottle of what I had chosen (warm) from the back as there was none in the cooler!.
Awesome customer service.
Looks great after the expansion too!! -

They have a good selection of beers here! The woman at cash wasn't super friendly though. Hopefully they'll do better on service next time but I'll be back for beer. :)

Take everything bad I've said about Darby's the bar and reverse it when it comes to Darby's the cold beer and wine store.
This little CBW managed to, before the general trend turned this way, offer a really good selection of reasonably priced liquor and basically every craft beer I could think of.
On top of that , even though they work in a sliver of space that must seem like a cage designed to torture them, the staff is consistently friendly, genial and up for a chat. I've seen them deal with huge groups and absolutely nobody with ease and they've answered the few questions I've posed to them in my time there.
So yeah, while I'd never say there's a reason to cross a city for a cold beer and wine, if you're in the area you can't do better than this. It has the selection and the customer service all liquor stores should strive for. -

Attached to the back of Darby's Pub, is the cold beer, wine, and liquor shoppe. And the natural question is- why do they call themselves a "shoppe"? To me that's a throwback to a 50's diner or something.
This place has nothing special going for it aesthetically. The wine selection is a little weak, but the expected beers and ales are all there.
Convenient for a quick run in, not very busy at all. -

Darby's the bar... well, it's best left unsaid. But the little beer store attached is actually quite good.
Decent selection of craft beers from Canada and the US, and all the major brands of international imports in coolers. The selection isn't as good for the non-macro imports from Germany, Belgium etc., but this is still your best bet for good beer in Kits.
Watch out, they ticket aggressively in the reserved parking lot across the street!
