I have been going to Dr Van Berkel for years, and I do not plan to switch to other dentist any time soon.
I just love that this dental office is located inside the house, and not in a shopping strip like most dental offices in Edmonton. The house belongs to Dr Van Berkel and his family. What they did to the space is amazing! The entrance door to the office is located on the North side of the house, and as soon as you come in, you will hit the reception area. The receptionist ladies are nice and friendly, and will take good care of you. The waiting area is small but has ample seating.
The procedure rooms are located down the stairs. They are light and airy, and not dungeon-like.
At Dr Van Berkel's office works my favorite hygenist-Olena. She is the most professional, caring and kind person I have ever met at a dentist's office:) She has been with the company for a while, and knows her business.
Dr Van Berkel himself is a wonderful man. He is a talented dentist and a caring person. He runs a charity and travels a lot helping people. It is somewhat difficult to get an appointment with him, but patience and persistence will get you one.
Basically, everybody at Dr Van Berkel's office is nice and friendly. Whenever I come for an appointment, I feel at ease. -

It's the dentist and who really likes the dentist?
Dr. Dan is a nice man who does some good work. I had $2000 worth of work done and during that process something went wrong. he's been taking me in to do exams without charging me because of the complication, were some dentist would just continue to charge you. They also have another lady dentist who is very nice to deal with aswell.
I like this dentist office do to it's cleanliness and I like the layout. It's pretty cool. You don't feel like your ib a dental office at all. You're given a remote and get to watch tv of your choice while you wait. The receptionists are great and fun to deal with. This office is very acomidating in dealing with insurance payments as they do dirrect to the insurance billing.
