If I can't be first to review those good restaurants, well I'm going to be first to review (drum roll, please...) Dairy Queen @ Yaletown. Woohoo! DQ! Gimme the Blizzard, and no you don't have to turn it upside down for me...okay, okay do it!
My all-time favourite - Strawberry Cheesequake! Soft serve vanilla ice cream mixed with some sort of strawberry compote and some sort of cheese curd. Who cares what some sort it is, when all combined together - yum-o!
Not a fan of strawberry nor cheese in your soft serve? Classic Oreo is your fall back. Had enough of their usuals? There are a lot more choices. Or even better, watch out for the "Blizzard of the Month" treats.
This specific DQ store is really, really, really small. You go in practically one small group at a time and then move out to accommodate the next. But as for making Blizzard, no sweat. You're in, you're out.
And you don't need to give in to any other size as a small will do. It's that filling.
TIP: Oh, and why not be a fan and join the Blizzard Club. Once in a while they will email you a "buy one, get one free" Blizzard certificate to print out and show to your chosen place.
