This Dairy Queen is found in a small plaza in the Terra Nova neighborhood of Richmond. It brings back memories of after-school runs for Blizzards and fries and ice cream birthday cake browsing. It's not geneally busy here so a lot of the hot foods here are made fresh, which you can see them making due to their open faced kitchen/grill. Their soft serve ice cream never disappointments as it coats my mouth in a yummy, creamy, smooth vanilla avalance of coldness. I love eating my soft serve with their freshly fried french fries too (score on my alliteration!) If you've never tried ice cream and fries - you're missing out! I also really enjoy their cheeseburgers, always made to order and doesn't taste oily.
If it's a nice day outside, feel free to walk around the corner to the elementary school and you'll find a nice huge grass field with a playground and park benches. Walk a little further and you'll easily reach the dike. Beautiful area to take a stroll.. but I digress.
Right now DQ has this meal deal option where you can pick 2 items for $4 or 3 for $5 or 4 for $6! Cheeseburger, fries, drink and a sundae for $6?! I'm all for that!
Overall, nice stop to enjoy some Hot Eats, Cool Treats!
