I really like CTV. It is a great place to go get your news because they show both local and national new back to back. They also show really good shows too. I like watching Law&Order: SVU on here every week day. Many times they show episodes I haven't seen.
It seems that CTV really focuses on Canadian television but they also play popular shows like Lost and American Idol.
I don't like any of the morning shows on this channel. Canada AM is not local enough for me. I prefer to watch local morning news like breakfast television. -

I don't care much for the news on CTV because it is usually focusing on international stuff before it gets to local stuff. I really like it because it carries some great shows.
Now Global has a one up when it comes to comedy shows but CTV has LOST. In my opinion it is one of the best shows of all time. It also carries American Idol which is the most watched show of the decade, so you can see what I mean.
I also believe it is going to be the broadcaster for the Olympics this year so it will probably be the most watched local station this year. -

I really like CTV. It's always the station I turn to for news.
I can't really put my finger on why, but they really do have the best news. I find them to be the most up-to-date and the most detailed when it comes to their news stories.
I also find the to be the most serious. I don't mean boring, I mean serious. I feel like they don't have the gadgets and flashiness that other news programs rely in. They are serious about what they do and they do it very well.
With that said, the news personalities are still fun! I really enjoy their program and I always feel well-informed when it's over.

As long as CTV shows Lost every Tuesday they're alright by me.
I enjoy their news more than the other stations because they actually pay attention to what's going on OUTSIDE Canada rather than inside Canada. I love my country and all, but not al ot happens here in terms of interesting news. I'm more concerned with what goes on outside because I've spent most of my life outside Canada.
I think they could have done a better job with the Winter Olympics coverage. Their commentary was juuuustttt a bit too biased for our country during certain events. But I didn't mind that one bit during the men's hockey final of course.
