I love this place but it's expensive. I like how there are lots of rides to chose from. It's cute for a rain day place but doesn't stand well against amusement parks. It's gear towards older kids.

It would never stack up against a big amusement park, but it doesn't have to, because there aren't any really serious contenders in Moncton (there is Magic Mountain, but that's clearly not on the same scale as some of the bigger amusement parks).

Basically, for an in-city park, it's pretty fun. There's a coaster which is reasonably scary for an indoor coaster (my son went on once, and probably won't go again for a couple years, based on his reaction), a bunch of smaller rides, and lots of things well-suited for children.

If you're an adult roller-coaster nut, this place is clearly not going to offer all-day thrills the way you might get from Canada's Wonderland or a Six Flags, etc, but if you want a special afternoon with a child, it's good fun. And, unlike the big parks, the lines here are exceptionally short. You can spend all your time on the rides instead of waiting in line.

There are also lots of midway games if that's your thing. It's not really my thing, so I can't really speak to their quality, but they seemed like solid midway games, and that's certainly something that might appeal to parents waiting for their children, etc.

It's not cheap, but amusement parks and fairs generally aren't. I don't feel like Crystal Palace is overpriced by comparison.

    I *heart* Crystal Palace!
    And I've never taken kids.
Why should kids get all the fun?!

Most of the rides are aimed at child-sized people but laser tag, the big swing and mini-golf are all good attractions for anyone. Unless you don't like fun. And then why would you be here?!

I highly recommend getting the all-day pass bracelet. It's a much better deal than simply purchasing tickets.

You can really make a day of it. Need to take a break? Champlain Place is right next door. Want a beer? There's a bar on site. Need to wind down? There's a movie theatre.

    Fun for all ages.

A good place to bring the kids on those rainy or cold winter days.  This indoor amusement park offers several rides, arcade games, 18-hole miniature golf, laser tag, rock climbing wall and the 8 screen Empire Theatres. Rides include a roller coaster, carousel, bumper cars, wave swinger, and more.  Each ride/attraction requires tickets or all day bracelets. The climbing wall is a separate charge. The kids are sure to have a great time.

Champlain Place is located across the parking lot and the attached Chapters and Starbucks are conveniently attached next door, great places for hip parents to hang out and remain close by while letting their older kids hang with their friends.
