I was on a health kick today and visited my dentist and a doctor. I feel fantastic now. So, I was looking for a new dentist in burnaby, not knowing what to expect - well, I was very pleasantly surprised.
These guys have regular Saturday hours and their reception staff was very pleasant over the phone and in person. I went in for a regular dental checkup as it was time expecting to be there for a few hours - between the waiting room, forms, and the work itself.
I spent the first five minutes filling out my forms, the receptionist had taken my insurance details over the phone a few days earlier so they were prepared for billing. Within 2 minutes of returning my paperwork, they ushered me into a dental chair - normally a very scary place.
The took a couple x-rays and did a quick exam, repaired a couple small cavities, even had some art on the ceiling for me to stare at while I was being worked on.
The dentist was efficient and very pleasant. They completed this entire process within 35 minutes - as I walked out, the receptionist had my bill ready within 5 minutes and I was on my way.
This was the most physically painless and financially painless dentist appointment in my life. There is a first time for everything apparently.
one note - their hygienists are super busy, so expect to wait a few weeks to get an appointment with them.

Both Dr. Goran and Dr. Dragana graduated in Europe back in 1988. Our other Doctors, associates, are experienced too, with 10+ years of experience.
Our Metrotown Dental Clinic - Crystal Dental Centre was immediately modernized to make it one of the most cutting-edge dental facilities in Burnaby. We are now entering another era in the history of our practice, as we have newly remodelled and expanded our dental office in 2007 to make it even more comfortable and up-to-date.
We provide care to patients from Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, ... but having patients from other areas like Langley, Seattle and surrounding communities. Though we are primarily known for our cosmetic dentistry procedures, we also offer gum disease treatment, excellent diagnostic, modern restorative dentistry, full mouth reconstruction, and we also offer Botox® cosmetic treatments to Correct Facial Imperfections and Diminish the Signs of Aging.
Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Goran Stanisavljevic D.
Dr. Goran Stanisavljevic has been practicing dentistry for the past 23 years in Canada and his native country. He earned his Master degree in 1993 and his PhD in 1996. In Dec. 1994 he became a Certified Clinical Specialist. Throughout his long experience, he gained a deep knowledge of all aspects of dentistry (diagnostics, crowns, bridges, endodontics, pedodontics, extractions...) including hospital dentistry.
Due to his professional background, he was chosen to teach at University of British Columbia (UBC) from 2000 to 2004, during which period he passed much of his knowledge to his future colleagues. Very active in science work, he has published a great number of scientific articles and publications in the field of specialized and general dentistry.
Dr. Dragana is also co-owner and very experienced, gentle dentist with an emphasis on health and beauty. She is clearly one of the top dentist in Burnaby having the greatest pleasure from making patients feel better about themselves.
