Perfectly Adequate.
Things to consider: Free parking! Across the street from the casino (where there is also free parking)! No passport required! Beds! Pillows! Tiny Mouthwash!
Bar closes early. All the bars in NF close early. Head back to casino. Drink more there.
So three stars for an impromptu sleepover/casino party. Good times. -

The hotel itself needs major interior renovation.
Hallways smelled musky, carpets were stained looked old.
The elevator was disgusting !
This place is run down. Doors were chipped.
We went to aparty in the banquet room and the spots were out - right were all the speechs were given. The food at the banquet was gross. The chicken had an odd filling in it that tasted off with uncooked bacon wrapped around it and a cream sauce !
Maid service was poor - seems that the people in the office just work in there and never come out and SEE what the place looks like- down trodden. The only plus was the comfortable bed !
I will not return ! -

If you're staying on the American side, this hotel is quite convenient. It's about a 10 minute leisure walk to the falls and the Maid of the Mist.
The hotel itself needs major interior renovation. Hallways smelled musky, carpets looked old. One thing that is fairly new are the beds, they were some comfy firm beds! Room and bathroom were spacious.
We did the breakfast buffet in the morning. It had just about everything you would expect out of a buffet, but quality of the food was nothing to write home about. In fact, for $14/person I thought it was very overpriced but we are in a touristy town.
There is a Starbucks attached to the hotel that you can access from inside the hotel lobby.
Parking was $5 with in and out access. Parking is located in an open lot next to the hotel. -

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for 5 days over Thanksgiving week. The hotel was nice and the staff was polite as well. The casino was directly across the street (you know we hit the slots!!) We got there a little early (around 1 pm). Our rooms were ready and we were able to check in. The rooms are very spacious, however a review noted a "muky smell" in the hallway. We didn't notice it during our stay.
There were a few quirks during or stay though. We kept a cooler full of libations, and upon our return from the Buffalo Zoo, it was missing. We reported to the staff and expressed our concern although nothing else was missing. The manager offered to replace the missing items but we declined. Again, we just wanted to express concern. To our surprise, we found 2 free tickets for their breakfast buffet in the morning (slid under the door). It was nice of them to extend concern to make our stay enjoyable. We actually ended up extending one more day (we were planning on it prior to this) because we wanted to sightsee some more!
Anyway, there is a Starbucks and a restaurant/pub called the Old Falls Sports Bar & Grille which was convenient considering the cold windy weather during our stay. Most places were within walking distance, which is a fairly scenic walk. We walked to most places so it was nice not todrive, considering it was a 7 hour drive for us!
Parking is $5 a day and you have to get it validated by the hotel. The charge for parking does show up on your hotel bill, if you weren't already aware like I was! The breakfast was okay..I wouldn't jump and shout over it. Denny's was WAAY better (1.5 blocks) and would recommend Dennys or Red Coach Inn for a nice breakfast. We did recieve 4 coupons for $3.95 off breakfast and 2 coupons for a free beer at the pub, which is a nice touch.
Overall, we would stay there again for the value, convenience, comfort, polite & helpful staff, and the short distance to many of the common tourist sites around town. The cost was very reasonable considering it was Thanksgiving week (about $105 per night) and the cold weather. It did snow the last two days we were there though! -

I am writing this review from here. Upon check in I asked about giving my Priority Club number and was told this hotel is no longer affiliated with them. However, the signs are still up. The hallways smell like stale cigarette smoke. The room was comfortable and the bed was also. It was a short walk to Canada. No problems. The next morning I tried to take a shower and there was no hot water. I tried to call the front desk but there was no phone cable. Literally the phone in the room is a decoration. So when I went down for breakfast which by the way the cheapest thing on the menu was a ham, egg & cheese sandwich for $8.95. I told the front desk about no phone wire and asked about the lack of hot water and was told you have to let it run for a while. I did. Then I explained the phone situation and was told well somebody must have taken the wire. The staff did not seem to be bothered or very helpful. Thankfully my company paid for my stay. I will never book a night at a Crowne Plaza again. However, the sports bar was nice.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza in the american side. Very convenient walk to the falls about 8 minutes to the american side. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. They also have a starbucks and a sports bar inside the hotel. The pool was really nice and I was surprised that it was 7 feet deep. The have a lifeguard on duty as well. The staff was very pleasant. The parking is $5 right beside the hotel but the hotel did not charge me, they validated the parking. Make sure you get your ticket validated at the front desk before you drive off. There's not much to do in the american side but if you're looking for nightlife, I recommend you stay in the canadian side. I would definitely stay here again.
