Review from Shannon K.
My fiance at the time (now husband) and I went here right after we got engaged two years ago in October. I wanted to stay somewhere where we had a falls view, so this is where he chose. Yes, the hotel is old, but old does not mean drab. It was WONDERFUL! The rooms are small, mainly because the hotel is older so when it was built hotel rooms were made smaller than they are now. Most people complain about how outdated it looks, but they just don't appreciate the history behind such a hotel. We stayed on the top floor where we had a balcony and the view was gorgeous. The rooms are very clean and nice. The parking is somewhat expensive, but it is expensive everywhere in Niagara Falls. We ate at the restaurant one night (they had given us vouchers for a discount) and the food and ambiance were great. A great place to stay for a romantic getaway.

At first when you look at the building, it looks like a renovated building that looks nice. When you walk in, it looks like you went into time machine and went back to the 90s. The main foyer is very old and needs renovating (i went here a year ago, i do not know if they have changed it). The decor looks like the one from the movie The Haunted Mansion. The room is really small. The space feels like you have no space to move around. The beds are uncomfortable are unpleasant. Please do not go here. If you plan on visiting Niagara Falls, stay at the Embassy Suites.

Beautiful hotel -- formerly known as the Brock Plaza hotel. It was renovated this year and the location is excellent -- a 1 minute walk to the Rainbow Bridge -- and most rooms have excellent views of the falls (well, at least the half facing that way!)
The hotel has a Starbucks on the first floor (lobby is on the 2nd) and shares a parking garage with the Niagara Casino, next door.
A 30 second walk from the hotel will pass by the Hard Rock Cafe on the way to Clifton Hill, a tourist-trap but fun area which has many wax museums, arcades, restaurants, gift shops, and the new Niagara Sky Wheel, a large ferris wheel with great views of the Falls.
The rooms are rather small (the hotel was built in the 20s), but, as I mentioned, completely refurbished and modern.
My only 2 complaints were that the walls weren't thick enough (I could hear a baby crying in another room -- but I couldn't hear sounds of TVs or talking) and the wait for the elevators was painfully long.
Parking is $10 a night, in and out privleges, in one of the most convenient places in Niagara Falls. You probably don't need your car at all, actually.
I would stay here again anytime, provided I had a view of the falls. -

We stayed at the Sherton and they gave us a $20 voucher for each room to eat the crowne plaza dining room. We went and they had a view of the falls. The food itself was left to be desired.
The service was only so so. Our waitress didn't give us bread or butter for the longest time. We had to ask for it, after we waited to get our drinks. The vouchers didnt' work on their prime rib special which was 15.99 i think, it was pretty cheap. so we ordered various dishes to dry, we were pretty much not full and not impressed. Our friend's pina colada had the consistency of jelly. So they're not that great with drinks. We were glad to have left. -

I got this place on a great deal from Hotwire. I was generally very happy with this place, though I can kind of understand some of the other reviewers' complaints.
We decided to pay an extra $20/night at check-in to have a king bed and a view of the falls. We got a room on the top floor. The room is a bit small, but I was just traveling with my girlfriend, so we don't really need much space. I suspect that our room used to part of a two-room suite. And on the top few floors, there is a weird situation in which you have to take two separate elevators to get to the room. I passed this off as just a quirk of a really old hotel.
Anyway, the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is really beautiful, and near lots of the falls attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, even when I locked all my stuff, including my room key, in the pool area. It was a very pleasant stay. -

Nice hotel with a beautiful entrance. Even more beautiful is the chandelier on the lobby.
We were lucky to get a room with a view of the falls. Plus it's home to the Fallsview Restaurant (10th floor), which also has a good view of the falls.
Other restaurants in the hotel are the Hard Rock Cafe, and some fat food chains like Taco Bell, Pizza Hut - but these close really early, at least while we were staying there. There's also a buffet, which you can access through the casino. And a Starbucks downstairs.
The casino is not impressive but enough to entertain the guests. It also has a arcade/ game room, that's connected to the Sheraton Hotel next door.
Another feature of this hotel is that it's walking distance from the Rainbow bridge, the falls, the Hershey's store, you can even walk to some other attractions, shops & restaurants in that area.
They also have an inside "water park", which you can enjoy even in the winter.
The only bad side to the hotel is that the rooms are a bit small, and there's no breakfast or room service available. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. -

I was here for a wedding during NYE. Fairly nice place, however, I think that 70% of the hotel is accomodated by the Grand Ballroom. Definitey, not place in which it would make my mouth drop. I didn't stay overnight at the hotel, since NYE prices are ridiculously expensive during that time. I did have some friends stay there and from their experience I can gauge that it was considerably average. Average is a good thing, isn't it?
