    two words:

    Moth

    Balls

That was the overwhelming stench I detected as soon as I walked in the door.  I could barely breathe let alone browse for the ugly yet strangely comfortable footwear that everybody loves to wear and loathes to admit.  At least those who still pretend to care about the way they look.

I'm sure I'll try again only to revise my star rating when it's summer and they have the AC on or at least the door open, and my feet will be in desperate need of their highly ventilated footwear.

Uh, what sane person on Queen West would walk into this store and take a beating to their boutique cred? Like that Facebook group states, "I Dont care How Comfortable Crocs Are, You Look Like A Dumbass."

I stepped in, more out of curiosity than anything else, and was bowled over by how many ugly shoes and colours were packed into one location. It blew my mind.

But I think more than anything else, I don't get why this store is where it is. It would seem more appropriate in the Eaton Centre or Dufferin Mall. In fact, I've passed by a number of times throughout the day and no one is ever inside. Big surprise.

I agree that the traditional Croc shoe is ugly.  That's why I don't wear them.  I do however love their flip-flops as I am a year round flip-flop wearer.  They're comfortable and great to wear around the house.  I got tired of buying new cheap flip-flops every month from places like ON and Crocs has been the best choice for me.

Croc knock-offs are available around the corner in Chinatown for $4...that being said they're called knock-offs for a reason & the price is a pay now or pay later thing...as for the store on Queen W. it had a pair in the window I really wanted...apparently they only come in size 13 & need to be shipped in from Montreal...i settled on a black pair that aren't as ugly as everybuddy keeps telling me, (probably in denial fuk 'em tho) but function before form, they is comfy-ass kicks

I know that Crocs are ugly, everyone does, but everyone also knows that they are like wearing little pillows on your feet.  I didn't realize the Croc frenzy had reached the point of having a store dedicated to the foam rubber foot wear, but apparently it has.  The Croc Store is a very nice store, it looks just like any other shoe store with the one major exception being that all the shoes are made out of foam rubber.  The store of course carries more than the simple clog that made it famous, they have all sorts of variations including shoes that almost look like shoes (which shouldn't be as impressive as it is).  The one place the store really does lose me on though is the price.  One of the reasons Crocs are so popular is that they are comfortable and cheap, some of the "shoes" at the store were in the $80 range and to be honest I can get a real pair of shoes for that much.  I would recommend this store for nurses and other people who spend all day on their feet, but for the most part I'd just get some regular shoes.
