the service is excellent and so honest and sincere. u feel like your mom has just made u a pizza! i m not a junk food eater, and the only place i allow myself to eats its pizza rather than home is this place. the quality is super great and the pizza is so stuffed. the money u pay for the dish is SO worth it!
Try Mediterranean pizza and u ll get hooked!! its great for big gatherings as the place is pretty spacious. not a big fan of their chickens, but u cannot possibly go wrong with their pizzas! its quite and relaxing and the owner really cares about their customer. -

* Halal fried chicken *
This little unassuming spot serves up made to order fried chicken using Halal meat. They don't start preparing it until you order, so it isn't warmed over. They warn you when you order, to make sure you understand there is a wait.
They have a 2 piece and a 4 piece size (for a very reasonable $6.50). I wished they had a 3 piece size, but I digress. My 4 piece (yes, I opted up instead of down figuring after a wait I deserved it!) arrived freshly made. They brought a bottle of ketchup and a bottle of Tabasco. I found the chicken needed the Tabasco as it wasn't particularly seasoned. The batter itself was thin and crispy (yet a bit too greasy), and the meat was very juicy. Photo: http://www.yelp.ca/biz...
To bump things up to a 4 star for me they would need to do a few things:
- Give a better marinade to the chicken before breading it
- Drain the chicken better after frying it so it wasn't as oily
- Offer a 3 piece size
- Offer some side dishes on a combo such as salad, cole slaw, fries, etc.
Overall not bad, but I still prefer the fried chicken at both LA Chicken (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...) and Duffins (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...). -

I have been coming to Crispy Poulet for over two years now, and was surprised to find out they didn't have a Yelp listing yet. So today, in the name of social curation, by the power bestowed upon me by the Great Internet and higher programming beings at Yelp headquarters, I'm creating this listing for the betterment of hungry among us.
In short, Crispy Poulet is simple honest fast food: Fried chicken, pizza and burgers. The place is clean, has plenty of seating space, and the prices, portions are generous and prices are good. What more can one ask for.
Now the longer version. Crispy Poulet, as the name suggests primary serves Crispy "Fried" Chicken, and they are really good at it. I think the pizza are an extension of the chicken business but it's still really good and show how a little bit I heart put into making food can make food taste really good. Thumps up to that. The food itself is always served fresh and mouth burning hot, tastes great and portion is really good. Their combos (chicken pieces, pizza, potatoes wedges and pop) are huge. There were times we couldn't finish and had to pack. The place is clean and has a lot seating, so nothing fancy here. It's good for a large group. They don't server alcohol so that keeps some crowd away but makes the place family and kids friendly, so no problem with that. The service is fast. It's a small family ran business so don't expect professional server checking on your table every 10 minutes, but when did that happen at a fast food joint anyways. The place has some free parking outside, and there is a bus stop right in front of it.
