I absolutely LOVE this place! I always come here when I want something a little "different" than the usual Thai or Vietnamese food that is so abundant around my work neighborhood.
The menu seems to feature an endless combination of savory and sweet crepes. I have gotten the
+ spinach, mushroom, cheese crepe
+ banana and nutella crepe
+ chicken, mushroom crepe
you can go wrong, I've loved every crepe I've ordered from here. And yes expect to be very full by the time you put down your knife and fork.
every time I visit Crepes Ooh La La I know what to expect...
* no lines (usually pretty empty little cafe)
* the very friendly chef who takes and makes my order
* super fast service
* a piping hot freshly made crepe wrapped in foil to-go!
Whenever I bring back a crepe from Ooh La La I get jealous looks from my co-workers. *evil laughter* -

A small unassuming annex to a coffeeshop. This place is relatively new and the little frenchman working there is such a sweetheart. You can tell he's passionate about his creations, and they turn out amazing!
Crepes made with love are the best kind! nomnomnom! -

It was after 9:30 PM and we got hungry so the decision was made to try their crepes. I liked the apple cinnamon and Kris liked her cranberry turkey so no complaints. This is a take-out kind of place and its located right next to several popular Polk St. bars. That's the primary advantage of this joint. Beware of the one man operation situation here because there's technically only one person working the whole restaurant :-).

When you need something sweet, get yourself a savory crepe. No doubt. And when you don't know what kind you want, get a banana and nutella one like I did and you'll be one happy person. Like really though, you can never go wrong with nutella.
The server/crepe maker was a friendly guy and didn't mind my obnoxious tipsy demeanor when I stopped here one party night in SF. Plus he made one heck of a crepe. OH! And since I asked for it to go, it was wrapped up semi-burrito style...pretty nifty. Oooh la la indeed! -

Randomly came across this hole in the wall while searching for dessert with a friend on Polk St. on a Friday night. I've avoided most of the crepes places in San Francisco because they seem too gimmicky, but this one immediately caught my eye. You could see the guy making the crepes from the window and the prices were very reasonable.
My friend and I split the nutella & strawberries crepe ($5.75) and I couldn't really have asked for a better end to my evening. Plus our server/crepe-maker (the only person working there!) was so nice.
Was it the best crepe I've ever had? Obviously not; I've been to Paris. Was it an overall pleasant and delicious experience? That's what s... I mean, yes :) -

In the space formally occupied by Crepes A Go Go (four word names only please), Crepes Ooh La La let's you start with a base, go to town with customization (egg whites? no problem) and not charge you an arm and a leg for doing so.
A few bucks and a few bites of my delicious breakfast crepe later, I was a fan. -

I'm usually not a fan of crepes because they are expensive and you don't get much food... This place changed my mind! I usually get the cheese/artichoke heart/sundried tomato crepe and I can rarely finish it! I've also had their chicken/cheese crepe and the chicken is really good. Their prices are the most reasonable I've ever seen at a crepe place and they always make your order very quickly.
They are NOT OPEN MONDAYS -

Let me start by saying that I have been a long time fan of this chain, tried all of their locations in the past, going back to when they were called "Crepes A-go-go", and have always loved the crepes. I think that maybe the night we were there was an aberration, but also it sounds like the main cook/owner wasn't there, so perhaps that made the difference.
The main reason for giving a one star review was that as soon as I opened the crepe, I found a hair in it. Yes, it matched the short black hair the cook had, and he admitted as much. The reason I was tearing the crepe apart was because I asked for mushrooms in mine, and instead of the regular chopped fresh or sauteed button mushrooms he stuffed it with cold, slimy, canned oyster mushrooms, that totally didn't fit in with all the other fresh ingredients. So I guess it was a good thing the crepe was full of nasty mushrooms, because otherwise I may have eaten the hair. The crepe itself was undercooked and gluey in the middle.
So, if it was just the hair, I maybe would consider having him remake it and hope for the best, but this was 3 strikes for me. To his credit, the guy refunded our money in full. We'll still go back to the Berkeley location, where over many years we've never had any problems... -

A great crepe place, sober or drunk!! Good prices and a nice selection of ingredients. They lure you in, making crepes fresh in the window! Get the jack cheese/tomatoes/caramelized onions combo!! Total greatness!! And a few frenchies I know are fond of it, so that says something.

This place has saved my drunk ass twice now. Salmon and spinach on a delicious crepe. Semi healthy, open late, friendly staff and cheap. The perfect meal for a late night pub crawl.

Lost in the mix of all the shops on Polk...you can thank me now for bringing this place to your attention. Open late night after the bars shutdown. Best savory crepe in town. You'll go dumb for the Smoked Salmon and Spinach.

Savory or sweet, this place is a great stop for a crepe. I am a big fan of the savory ones which has great toppings like avocado, turkey, salmon and spinach. Dessert ones are pretty typical like fruits and Nutella. Opened late so it is a perfect and convenient ending for the Polk bar nights.

The "go-to" place for food after a great night of dancing or drinking! My only complaint is what's up the bathroom? It is ALWAYS out of service!

My friend and I went for a late night dessert and were pleasantly surprised by how good the sweet crepes were. And the cute guy working there made for some nice eye candy. Did I just say that aloud? Oops.

Great prices for great crepes! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. My kids love stopping by after-school for a treat of crepes with butter, sugar, and don't forget the whipped cream! (My kids make sure I don't).

This place is bomb-delicious! Sometimes I forget how fortunate I am to have this joint walking distance from my girlfriends house. It's basically hidden next to a smoke shop on Polk cue the omnipresent piss stench and glow of nearby bar neon. It's not much to look. But, from my experience thats usually where you find the best grub. I recommend the smoked turkey with egg and cheese on the savory side. For a sweet crepe you can't go wrong with the Nutella and banana. Oh and the guy working isn't some angry hipster trash who's paying his way through art school and wants to make you feel small for being in his establishment. Phew...sorry I digress. The guy working his a$$ off here seems to always have a smile on his face. I went there last night (Monday) and they were closed. I nearly hit the deck in the fetal position. In summation: delicious crepes, huge portions and a reasonable price make this a place you can't miss on Polk.
