    This place is freakin' GOOD!

I didn't like crepes until I met Crepes A Go Go. I live in the east bay and wish I lived in SF for this place.

Only downside is it's only open during dinner/late hours.

These guys deserve 5-stars just for their comedy routine.  "Number 98!  No..that's 89, I called 98! Just kidding!"  "I ordered two crepes.  Nope.  I only have you down for one.  We charged you double.  Oh. Ok.  Just kidding!"

But seriously surrounded by night clubs and bars, this little crepe stand is just what one needs at 3am in the morning.  And honestly, even if it weren't 3am, I'd check hit these guys up for their delicious crepes.

I got a banana an Nutella crepe for $4.  Even at the Asian crepe places, this crepe would have set me back at least $5.  You can even choose to add whip cream to your crepe for no extra charge!

The options on the savory crepes look delicious, so I will definitely try one of those next time.

    Overall:
    -Great value
    -Good food
    -Fun atmosphere

You've got to give 'em a try!

Jimmy and I took a cab here and were shocked to find a beat up truck for a crêperie. I've had amazing food from beat up food trucks in Hawaii, but this was not a shrimp truck by the beach. Pretty much zero seating or tables, so you'll have to enjoy your mediocre crepe standing up. Maybe I needed to be drunk and hungry to enjoy Crepes A Go Go, but it just did not live up to the Yelp hype. Slather anything with Nutella and it's going to be at least decent. Wish they had the option of adding a scoop of ice cream and would make their crepes a bit crispier. It was too pancake-like for me. Oh, well.

CASH ONLY! And, watch out for the shady bar next door...

It took staring at what is currently photo #17 of #77 (the menu!) to remember which crepe I had downed like it was my job after a night of getting oh-so-elegantly wasted on shabby chic concoctions at neighboring Butter. Much more important than the name, this crepe legitimately saved my life. After a cab ride which had me uttering, "oooooooh my god, I'm going to be so sick tomorrow," I woke up with nary an ache and my roaring 20s costume complete with fishnets and false lashes fully intact.

That is one hell of a crepe, and one hell of a night.

The magical concoction of protein (smoked turkey and egg), carbs (the namesake thin pancake) and oozing fat (oh hi, cheese) inexplicably soaked up two Jello shots, a Long Island Iced tea made with Welch's strawberry soda, a Hawaiian Punch and Malibu Rum cocktail and quite possibly, one more plastic cup of evil ready to wreak havoc on my insides. I should make mention that the hunky crepe was easy on the palate, too.

Lesson learned? Excess + pre-slumber nutrition is a combination always worth exploring, though results like mine cannot be guaranteed unless you eat at Crepes A Go Go. Carry on, 'cause life is worth Buttering!

Oh, Crepes a go go. How much do I love thee? Let me count the mornings you've saved me from a hangover because I stumbled into your little nook and ate your crepes....

Wow, so many nights...this place was my standard go-to place after a night of drinking. I always knew what I was going to order and I always knew that the friendly French people working the truck would accomodate my drunk talk.

I've developed a preference for the toothsome, crunchy texture of Genki crepes, but the house special crepe here was the gold standard for years. Juicy deli-cut turkey nestled with savory egg and melted cheese in a crepe. Top it with tapatio and you're GOOD TO GO. A must-try if you like savory crepes and are craving something more substantial than Nutella at 1am in the morning.

It's a definite freak scene here when the drunks come out. Grab a seat on the chairs & benches lining one side of the tent and watch the circus.

5 stars for feeding me past 2am at an UNBEATABLE price and serving people with a sense of humor!!!

I'm not going to lie, the infamous bacon wrapped hotdogs of SF are just right outside the gates of this snazzy little joint, but Crepes A Go Go has more value for your dollars and offers a place for you to sit while you enjoy your food.

I'm not sure how they manage to keep the bums off the premises, but from my experiences here, I haven't had any encounters with them. (Or was I too drunk to even notice?)

    Anyway...
Tipsy and hungry, with only leftover tip money in my pocket, I'd say this is the perfect deal.

I need one of these downstairs.. at my work, home, friends' houses.

Plenty of sweet and savory options to satisfy any type of food craving you might have
on a random night, should you find yourself wandering off toward Butter.. but undecided
on whether you really want to go inside.

Me *on Yelp* : Hey, there's a crepe place around here!!
    Limo driver: What?
Friends: No, we're going to Butter
    Me: *sad face*
    Limo driver *opens the door*
Me: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the crepe place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Friends: No, it's Butter!
    Me: Well, let's get crepes!!!!!!!!
Me + Friends + Limo driver nom on crepes
[the crepe peeps are so obviously used to dealing with drunks that are just an evil sarcastic bunch, but we loved them]

Then we hopped back on the limo and left.. only realizing later that we never actually went to Butter. Woohoo! Got my crepe fix! *SUCCESS KID*

I'm not even entirely sure what I ate here. Stumbling over from Butter after an indulgent night, with someone else's money in hand, I managed to pinpoint an item from an incredibly long (for those happening on it in the 2am hour) food truck menu: it had cheese, mushrooms, and spinach? It was pretty cheap, and it was ready within a few minutes. It was also devoured within a few minutes. Poor Kelly S returned to find me with what was left of her money, and what was left of a crepe. Thanks for sharing, Kelly; I fully attribute my hangover-free morning to that crepe! PS) Don't miss the toppings bar, like I did. You can jazz up your snack with hot sauce and more.

Okay.  I'm probably going to be in the minority here by not giving this place a 5 star review.  For being open late and dealing with all the drunk folks, I will have to commend these guys.  But, I've seriously had better Crepes.  I ordered the Banana Nutella with whipped cream.  Upon taking the first bite, all I thought to myself was "This is it?!"   Don't get me wrong-- I ate the whole thing, but it still isn't something that I'd want to eat again if I had other options.   And this is one of the rare times that I didn't read a review on yelp before trying something out.

Roasted eggplant, feta cheese, bell peppers, caramelized onions, and mushrooms all partying it up inside my hot crepe, and then come my tastebuds grinding up on everyone and everyone's having a great time! Delicious!!

the crepe consistency wasn't super fresh, but the sum of all its parts made for the most delightful late night snack.
As we were munching away, we hear another customer a few feet away say to her friend after biting into her crepe, "omg, this is so good, it's stupid." HAHAHAH. so true!

Overrated! Maybe it's because everyone kept hyping it........

Got there a little before the line formed and we were watching our order of crepes being made. I've always seen crepes made in circle form so when we saw the person make our mushroom and cheese crepe along side the nutella we questioned.. He said this is what you ordered. The cashier confirmed it and my bf and I insisted we ordered two separate crepes. Mind you I was dealing with my bf who was celebrating his bday so he was a wee bit intoxicatedl.. Anyways, the employees had a good laugh at our expense which really irked me because I thought they were serious. Guess you had to be there to understand how annoyed ..

The nutella crepe was pretty good but he smeared a little too much nutella. The mushroom, cheese and avocado crepe was good though. i really liked the cheese but it was seriously overhyped for me!

Prices are very fair and it's cash only (I believe). Great that they have seating too.

I'm going to say it.. this is the best crepe truck in the world. Ever. Look at the reviews. millions of San Franciscans don't lie. Cheap crepes. After a night of drinking at Butter, you know where you want to go.. next door to this fucking place. That's right. Fuck yea. And if you don't like it because of some stick up your ass for being a crepe connoisseur or some other bullshit, that's fine. You're obviously too pretentious to matter to anyone. Fuck you. You got to go go.

My first visits came right after college. There was no Yelp. There was also no memory. Think it was good. But not 100% sure.

I can now say with confidence it is good. Extensive menu to choose from as well as build your own. My turkey, onions and spinach creation was ready almost as soon as I ordered. Generous on the items. Six dollar price was just about right.

A lot has changed since right after college. My ability to inhale one of their crepes in no time at all has not.

Young. Old (er). Drunk. Sober. Just go go.

I used to love you crepe truck. You were just as delicious to me sober as you were when I was drunk. Alas, ever since "Hot-French-crepe-trunk-man" left, you haven't tasted quite the same.

It's an OG food truck, don't be the douche (sober or not) that asks if they take card. If Chairman Bao is cash only, you best believe so is the crepe truck.

I love nutella.  I love crepes.  I love eating when I'm drunk.

After concluding thirsty Thursday...I was hammered! A friend of mine mentioned there was a crepe truck near by so I was on a mission to find this truck! Luckily we found it, hidden next to butter.  I've probably seen it a thousand times but i never noticed it.

I couldn't decide between sweet or savory...pesto was calling me but nutella won.  Nutella, strawberries and bananas.  I don't even remember how much it cost me, I didn't care...I was just thay happy to have food.  I burned my tongue on the nutella and I think i even bit myself.  Nom.

Crepe truck is a must if you're in SOMA.  Dare I say I rather eat a crepe from the truck over a dirty dog.

Best late night option that doesn't leave you feeling disgusting the next morning.

The crepes are crispy and meant to be eaten handheld.  I usually get the one with spinach/mushroom since that's my favorite veggie combo.  For something meaty, the cheese/beef/jalapenos is awesome and tastes like a gigantic Jack in the Box taco.

The workers are good sports and put up with all the antics of their late night customers too.

What's not to love about crepes? Very thin pancake with crispy edges, filled with any sweet or savory filling you desire. YUM!

Crepes A Go Go is THE place to go to for delicious crepes. They have all sorts of ingredients that you can choose from to stuff into your fluffy crepe and most importantly, they are not skimpy with the ingredients!

I came here after dinner for dessert and I almost couldn't find the place. I was looking for a truck parked on the street, not for a truck sandwiched between two large buildings, so I almost missed them. Once I finally found the shack, my taste buds were bursting with excitement as I stood in line! They had so many crepe creations to choose from, but I decided to get a Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas. The crepe was humongous, so I shared it. The crepe was the perfect thickness and it contained a load of Nutella and fruit. I was really surprised with the quantity and quality.

There was a small area with a couple of picnic benches for seating. They have potential to open up a little cafe of some sort, so I hope that happens so I can sit down and enjoy my crepe indoors. I also wish they had some ice cream to go with my crepe!

King Lias crepe = the bomb.  Both in flavor and in weight!  Crepe with nutella, bananas, coconut, almond powder and topped with whipped cream.  $6.00!   (They have savory options too.)

Seating = some tables and chairs outside under a canopy.

    Service = super friendly.

Oh, and this place is open until 3 a.m., I'm sure they get a lot of people from the clubs...;-)

We were obviously doing it wrong when Katherine L and I showed up completely sober - but which no other interesting options available to satiate our hunger at 1am in SOMA, along we came, settling in line amongst all the drunks that were slowly trickling out of the clubs along the block.

Twenty minutes (the lines were fairly short, but the waits were pretty long around this time) and a shared strawberry nutella and cheese, mushroom, turkey crepe later, our satisfied tummies made their way back home.

I do have to give props to the people who work here though, both for their patience and good humor in dealing with all the drunkards. And if nothing else, if you come here sober, sit down, eat your crepe, and get some kicks out of people watching.

Could the location for this place GET ANY BETTER? For me, and for them...I assume.

Parked unassumingly next to Butter (please forgive me, I have sinned and went back!)...as the edges begin to blur on your life, you just check out...and pop over to this parking lot cum cafeteria. Crepes! Crepes! So many flavors and combos...who woulda thunk I could've gotten a fresh, cheesy crepe with spinach and bacon at 1am on a Thursday?

You can even bring the crepes BACK to Butter if you want...saying perhaps you maybe ate your colleagues crepe while they were in the bathroom and you need to get them a replacement. It may or may not have happened, but either way amends were made right quick!

It quite literally saved my buttery life. Could've been a rough morning if I hadn't had a few crepes in my life the night before. Butter, goddamnit.

    *cash only.
    *price range from $4-$9.

The location to this place is very odd....very easy to miss. I drove by this place a few times before finding it. I wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for some yelpers who mentioned in their reviews that this place was next to Butter.

Surprisingly, this place was pretty busy when I got there around 1130PM, but the service and wait was pretty fast. I can't believe such good crepe can come out of a truck like this. I ordered my usual strawberry, whip cream, and nutella while my cousin got their house special savory crepe. Mine turned out good..even though the wrap got kinda thick and sickening towards the end but I still enjoyed the crispiness at the beginning. The house special savory crepe wasn't that great. It was a bit too cheesy and we ended up throwing it all away after 3-4 bites into it.

There was a small stands on the side of the truck where they have sirachi, hot sauce, and like other sauce where you can customize your crepe which I find pretty interesting. Maybe it was just me, but we were all pretty scared in the car around that time in SF. There were just many random people there. I don't know if I am willing to go back here or not. Overall, the crepe wasn't that bad...well the fruit one wasn't anyways. But I really do agree with others that the batter could have been better...I would like it to be lighter and fluffier =]

I can definitely see this as a drunk food choice. It's cheap and easy to eat. Just got the turkey and cheese...the flavor of the filling was good. I know I wasn't very exciting with my choice but I wanted to taste the crepe itself. I think its a lttle too thick for my preference and almost too eggy. I think I might like it better with some pesto or hot sauce. I am sure I will be back considering it is smack in the middle of SOMA bars and clubs.

Everytime I'm in the city and need my late night grub after a long night of debauchary, this food truck definitely hits the spot! A huge menu of savory and sweet crepes, you can't go wrong! My "usual" would be the House Special -- Turkey, Eggs, and Cheese, and drench it with Tapatio sauce.... so good!

On top of that, the owner is super friendly and always knows your order. For a place that's busy packed with drunk people, he deals with the traffic pretty well. I recently had a mishap with a stupid guy who wouldn't let go of the fact that I had accidently cut in front of him.... it was a unanimous mistake.... anywho, before the guy could get really mad for doing what I had accidentally done, his order was ready in a snap. Mind you, he was still pissy over the fact like a little bia*ch, but the fact that his order was ready seconds after mine was a nice back up.

Take caution of stupid drunk people and make love to your crepe :)

    bonne mange!

When it's 2am and you've left the club, and you and your friends are slouched over in the back of a limo, buzzed like a mofo, someone is guaranteed to yell out:
"I'm hungry! Let's get some fucking crepes!"

Crepes a Go-Go is THE late-night drunken 4th meal go-to spot. It's a food truck, and they work quickly and diligently to keep the long lines moving quickly. My favorite is the banana caramel walnut crepe. I think I whispered gently to the crepe, "OMG I love you," at some point while I was devouring it.

Now that I can't eat sweets like I used to, I am damn near shedding a tear at writing this review. I miss you so much Crepes a Go-Go. Although my clubbing days are over, I might pay you a visit at 2am in my jammies just to get another taste of that sweet, sweet lovin'...err, crepes.

The last thing you need after a night of drinking at Butter and Bootie is a crepe... but there's a huge difference between "need" and "want." And after I walked out of DNA Lounge and saw Crepes A Go Go across the street, it didn't matter what my body needed.

It wanted a crepe. It desired one. IT YEARNED FOR ONE. And who was I to let my body down?

"One chocolate, banana and coconut crepe, please."

5 minutes later, that bad boy was in my hands and down my throat quicker than you can say "you can be whatever you want here tonight because this is San Fransexual!" (quote from drag queen at Bootie)

The chocolate was warm and syrupy. The bananas were sliced thin just how I like them. And they pounded that bad boy with coconut powder. The guy really, really, really wanted to put whipped cream on it, but I had to politely decline.

The guy working inside was hilarious. After I ordered mine, a group of 3 guys walked up and he turned off the light on the sign and said "sorry, closed, just ran out of crepes." He let this go on for a good 2 minutes, convincing ALL OF US that he was serious, until he turned it back on and took their orders. 5 stars alone for humoring drunk people.

If you're in this part of SOMA after a night of drinking and are craving a late night fix, you need to go here. No, scratch that. I *WANT* you to go here and I want you to let me know how happy you were by the time you got home.

Probably the best after party snack ever. . . and it was from a food truck!? Seriously?

Came here with a couple of friends last thursday night after a bar and I think I can speak for everyone who was with me that we enjoyed every bite!

Most of us got the House Special which consisted of smoked turkey, egg, and cheese.  Mmm. I also got the butter and sugar crepe because that's what I normally get at the shop in Berkeley.  Soo good.

Fast and cheap.  Just how I like it!  Haha.

One of the best things I ate this past weekend while I was up in the bay.

Went to slims across the street for a Dom Kennedy concert. I was standing in line hungry and saw this place and decided to give it a try. By far the best crepes I have ever experienced and they have a large menu for sweet or salty. Delicious!! I have been craving to go back here ever since. Definetly one of the many gems in sf.
