Love this place! I usually get crepes but today I decided to try their salad. The girl who took my order was very friendly and accommodating! Even gave me extra sauce in case there wasn't enough.

The salad was HUGE and only $5.97! A must try :)

I've lived in the sunset for almost 4 years now but I just visited this place for the first time this week.... now i'm sad I didn't discover it earlier!

I think they make very quality crepes comparable to the likes of sophies in japantown and genki. I made a custom crepe with green tea flavored crepe, nutella, strawberries, and lychee ice cream. I love how they have polly ann's ice cream! yayyy which means you can get some flavors like green tea, lychee, and mango that taste very authentic and asian that you may not be able to get at some crepe places. They packed the crepe FULL of ice cream which was really satisfying =)  In addition to the make your own options, they have a good variety of pre-made ones that sounded good as well as savory crepes (personally, not a fan of these in general). I just wish they gave a little more fruit (or cut up the strawberry into a few smaller pieces on mine).

I"ll be back when i'm craving a dessert crepe!

The batter is not crispy. It is very soft and I have to tug on it to eat it. The things inside are not evenly distributed either. All the ice cream and whipped cream are on top, which leaves the bottom very bland.

As for price, not bad. Very inexpensive. They also open late at night so it's a great place to grab some dessert crepes, but if you're going in the afternoon, try another crepe place instead.

This place deserves more than 5 stars!  This is the first crepe place I went to that had cake INSIDE your crepe! I tried their Red Velvet Crepe and have been hooked on this place ever since (Sorry Sophie's Crepes, I knew you well but we must part ways for I have found a place better than you).  First time I ever seen chocolate and green tea crepes. Great selection of sweet crepes and you can even make your own kind!  I've been making different varieties!

John (The owner) is very kind and really wants to make sure your crepes are to your liking.  I tried different kinds of crepes at this place (soft, regular, hard) and he tries to make some in-between.  He now knows which one to make whenever I go there.  He even let me try adding White Chocolate M&M's I brought in and put it into my crepe.  Such a nice guy!

Open's late night, decent location, good prices, great staff, totally awesome place!

    Hell-o NO!

"Hmm, yes I'll have the red velvet special please."
Okay, what kind of cake do you want in it?
    "Um, red velvet?...Like the picture."
Okay it'll be a few minutes.

Waited waaaay too long for this order to be taken. Wasn't even acknowledged or at least an, "Sorry for the wait," or "We'll be right with you."

BIGGEST ALERT! I'm not sure if they're sanitary, but if anyone hasn't noticed. The creators of the crepe, the one who cuts the strawberries - didn't wear gloves, who is the same person that handled the register. Second person who was making the actual crepe neither wore gloves.

A friend of mine had ordered a crepe with green tea ice cream, she had to drop of alot of kids at the lake - if you know what I mean (figuratively speaking). The green tea ice cream did taste kind of odd...

Lastly, I was a bit disappointed because I wanted a green tea crepe, but they had ran out of this flavor. It was only about 3 in the afternoon this weekday. Hmph.  And I guess my crepe didn't go right in the making b/c it wasn't served to me in a cone like figure, instead it was laid on a plate..

    Must've had an off day...

This is the closest crepe house near my house that opens late.

    Good crepes. Sometimes slow.
I like red bean with green tea ice cream.

Last time I went, the crepe skin was flavorless.

They have savory crepes too. I tried their pesto chicken before. and its good but too oily.

My friends and I decided to check out Crepe Temptations after a tasty lunch over at I-Skewers, a new place just a block away.  We were quickly greeted by the girl working behind the counter and we just wanted a small snack to share, so we ordered:

D9 ($5.50): strawberries, bananas, Nutella and walnuts (choice of walnuts OR whipped cream).  The crepe itself does not have much flavor, which was disappointing.  It was just dough.  Parts of it were very crispy and crumbled to pieces, while other parts were more chewy.  They banana slices were nice and thin, so there were a lot of pieces.  There weren't very many pieces of strawberry- just a couple pieces on top and maybe a few pieces inside.  The Nutella was spread evenly throughout.
    +
1 scoop of vanilla ice cream ($1.25).  The menu said that their ice cream is from Poly Ann's.  But then I saw the man carrying tubs into the shop, that said "Crystal" on the side.  I am confused.  Either way, the ice cream was decent.  Scoop size was very average/fair.

Overall, the crepe was okay.  When spending over $7 for dessert, it seems like there quite a few options, so I won't necessarily come back to Crepe Temptations any time soon.  But it's a decent option.  They also serve savory crepes, ice cream cookie sandwiches, and other sweets.

    Notes:
-Plenty of free street parking in the area.
    -Cash only!

The place offers a huge selection of crepes - savory and sweet! I ordered my usual favorite which is banana and nutella. It was delicious, but did not look as nice as the crepes that came with ice cream. lol My fried ordered a crepe with coconut ice cream and blueberry fruit on top. That was a great combo and his looked better since the ice cream puffed the crepe out.  You can pick your crepe to be made with original, chocolate, or green tea batter! At first it seemed interesting but the look of the green tea crepe made me think of green tortillas wrapped around burritos and suddenly did not seem very appetizing.

The place is open late night and there is a good amount of seating. Good place for a dessert run! They've got boba drinks there too!

What's happening, Crepe Temptations? I remember back when your original skin crepes were good, now they're just meh. I mean, don't get me wrong. I love your crepes for the price and all, but it's just downgrading now. I'm actually considering Genki's original skin tasting better. I'll just stick to my green tea skin crepes from now on.

We come here whenever we're either going from mine to his or from his to mine. Anyways, we've had so many of them. The ice cream ones are delicious. They make really great crepes and pretty cheap.

They're open what feels like all the time. They seem to have food network all the time on TV and its my favorite to sit there and watch. Also, it's right along the N so its actually pretty convenient to get to. Parking actually isn't too hard to find either.

Crepes is love! Remember their card, i actually always forget it so I have a couple of them, hopefully someday i'll actually fill one and get a free crepe!

Before this place, I really never cared for crepes much. I always thought to myself, "They are just really flat pancakes... who cares!!!" However, Crepe Temptations is so creative and they can do anything imaginable to crepes!!!

I had a Philly cheese steak crepe for lunch here once. Yummm! Their dessert crepes are also quite scrumptious. The staff is friendly and everything is made pretty fast. I will definitely be back! :D

I took off a star due to my most recent visit on Apr 2. I came in with my sister to get some dessert in the afternoon.

I ordered the crepe with tiramisu cake, coconut ice cream and whipped cream. The crepe itself was very good. The tiramisu was still semi frozen so the cream part of the cake was fairly crunchy...like icy crunchy. The cake was so dry that it crumbled. I never got the coconut ice cream because they mistakenly gave me lychee. I didn't complain though.

My sister had a scoop of their lychee ice cream in a cone and a cup. The cone was stale so she threw that out. Otherwise, their ice cream was good.

A few minor hiccups but this place is still good.

Overhyped.  Generous on their toppings, but quality of the crepe isn't very good.  Sure, it gives you the option of a soft, regular of crispy texture.  I asked the cashier what's the main difference between the soft and regular and he just said its softer.  The main reason why I came here, aside from the fact it's fairly new, was because I didn't like how Genki Crepes makes theirs extra crispy.  I asked for mine soft anyways, and guess what? It came out stale.

I ordered d9 (strawberry, banana, nutella, whipped cream with add. ice cream) and my bf ordered i9 (banana and butterfinger with ice cream).  He didn't have a preference on the texture since the guy never even asked us!  Turns out his came out softer than mine.  Wth? Obviously there really ISN'T a difference between the soft and regular!

Sure, they're cheaper than Genki and other crepe places for the amount of toppings they provide, but at this point, I think I would rather pay for a more expensive sit down.

They offer stamp cards, but I never got offered one, which is fine since I don't plan on paying them another visit.

A warm crispy crepe filled with gooey cheese, hearty chunks of chicken, tomatoes, and artichokes for that bit of tang.  It was delicious, as was the salmon and creme cheese crepe I had immediately after... as with probably any crepe place, you're gonna need two to fill you up.

I was a little disappointed that many of their other delicious sounding flavors were out (bacon cheeseburger! kimchi beef! drool..), but we did bust in there at 11pm, so I can't be too mad.

I really want to give Crepe Temptations a good review, but, I just didn't feel like I was eating anything spectacular. Despite the fact that I was excited to get a late night dessert,  I felt like I was eating just to eat with no purpose at all.

I ordered i9 with a green tea crepe, green tea ice cream, red bean paste, and custard (extra 95 cents) for a total of $6.40.

I found the crepe to be too crispy; its texture was similar to a taco shell which I didn't enjoy. I do, however, like the fact that they have three different types of crepe batters to choose from (Regular, Chocolate, and Green Tea).

The Green Tea ice cream was a a little bitter but tolerable (it tasted similar to the bitterness of the last few sips of hot green tea).

Although red bean paste is something I typically enjoy, I didn't find it pleasing in this crepe.

On the brighter side, the portion was larger compared to other crepes I've had.

I don't know how to describe the service. They weren't too friendly nor were they rude; I would say that they are somewhere in between (but, I can't think of the word at the moment).

Creative crepes that are loaded with ingredients but can take a while to be made. The crepe itself is pretty tasty and has a nice crunchy texture. I ordered the strawberry mochi custard crepe which sounded better than it actually tasted. There is a lot of mochi in the crepe, a bit too much, and combined with the warm custard and strawberries that mush all together, the filing becomes overwhelming.

I think the ice cream crepes are much tastier and would be my preference among the dessert crepe options. Although I didn't quite enjoy the mochi custard crepe, I would be open to try another dessert, or even a savory crepe.

FYI - Easily found parking right on the corner across the street. Ca$h only.

Probably the best savory crepes I've ever had.  Chicken Pesto, to me, is the best one.  So simple but so good.  I've also had the kimchi beef which was good but was a lot spicier than expected - meaning it was good kimchi!  They come out perfectly cooked - not an inch of that crepe is burnt and the give you a nice triangular shaped piece of cardboard to hold and shovel the crepe into your mouth with ease...awesome.

It's only 2 blocks from work, so it's a good place to get lunch.  Still have yet to try the sweet crepes but the reviews for those sound great too.

I'm writing this review because the owner John, is awesome, and his crepes have helped me survive medical school.

If he's there, the customer service is awesome, if not, then it's a hit or miss.  But he's always very helpful and will make sure your crepe is done to your liking or give you suggestions on what would be good based on what you've been ordering.

They have amazing combinations and their ice cream is amazing.  Their boba smoothies are great too (again, another thing that helped me survive med school) and the watermelon they use in their smoothies are fresh.

For savory crepes, we love their recommend their pulled pork crepe, the Philly Cheese Steak Crepe, mushroom chicken with barbecue sauce.... actually their all good

For sweet crepes, we just get anything with strawberries and nutella because you can never go wrong with nutella.

Right now wishing I had one of those crepes again... until next time...

I spent $7.32 on a crepe. I wanted strawberries with ice cream.... no dessert menu had that so I had to pay $1.25 extra for a scoop of ice cream! WAHHHH

I ordered d9 with a scoop of ice cream. D9 was strawberries, nutella, bananas and whip cream. The lady there was so nice, I asked her would it be cheaper to get d9 with ice cream or i8 with an additional nutella and bananas... it ended up being about the same price. If I got the i8 with the additional charges, it was about 60 cents more.

The crepe isn't a crepe you would get at genki or japantown. It is crunchy but had no sweetness to it. Kinda looked like a tortilla cooked on a pan, tasted a bit like it too. I think for those that like things to not be too sweet, then this crepe is for you (till you get to the end of your crepe TOO MUCH NUTELLA , but oh so good..kinda feeling).

I wasn't a fan of the crepe dough, I have had better at other crepe places (genki is one... it isn't as crunchy as this place (I like things with a crunch), but the flavor of the crepe seems off. Also, for the strawberries, you only get 3 half pieces on top and one mini slice on the bottom. So much bananas! YUM! and a lot of nutella at the bottom of the crepe.

It did take a while to get my crepe, but when I saw the presentation of it.. I see the reason why. The crepe's presentation was awesome! Sliced bananas surrounding the crepe and strawberries, scoop of ice cream and whipped cream!

I am not sure if I would come back here again cause the crepe itself wasn't to my liking, but everything else was fresh and the service was great!

Inexpensive, convenient, and tasty!! What more could I ask for? Now I don't have to travel all the way to the inner richmond district for late night dessert! I've only had their dessert crepes, but they've always been good. I like how they serve Polly Ann's ice cream as well.
Super friendly wait staff and they do have customization options (albeit they do charge for customizations)
Downside is their limited seating which fills up quickly and you can be waiting if you stop by on a crowded night. Parking can be hit or miss.

Came here and customized my own crepe. Green tea batter with green tea ice cream and tiramisu. Can't blame a girl for loving green tea though, right? The crepe was crispy and delicious, and well, nothing can go wrong with ice cream. The tiramisu was still pretty frozen though; the texture of the cake was hard.

The workers are pretty friendly though, and you get the freedom of creating your own crepe here, so I might come back. Too bad customizing your own crepe can be quite costly. Wish they'd lower the prices! (Single fruit added for $1 more? Cmon!)

First time ordering a crepe in my life, and i have to say, it was very tasty. Ordered the d9 which consists of strawberries, nutella, banana, and the option of almonds or whip cream. Add a scoop of Ice Cream for $1.25. For $7.32, thats a big crepe and very tasty. Plenty of bananas and 3 whole strawberries + a whole lotta nutella. I would love coming here. My order was a little slow though.

    I love this place, loads!

A wide variety of selections to choose from, and there's even a "make-your-own" crepe selection. My favorite is definitely the red velvet crepe, which used to won't available in February :P. But typically, their crepe batter is made to a delicious crisp. And it even comes if different flavors! The selection of ice cream is small, but good enough. Pollyann's ice cream! And their savory crepes are pretty good too.

    Downside, it's pretty pricey :/.

If ever you're in the sunset district and in the need for a crepe fix, this is the place to go to.

I love the crepes there. Well I only had one but they have a stamp card. How cool is that? I waited maybe like 15 minutes for my crepe but hey there were like 8 other people waiting for their crepe.

The crepe was crunchy. Honestly if you like Sopie Crepes in Jtown, you will definitely love this place. I personally don't like Sopie Crepes because I like this place a lot better. They have a tv so you can watch something while you wait. The setting is really nice and clean and bright.

The milk tea looked like milk tea, so I assumed it would taste alright. Boy was I deceived. I was literally drinking a cup of water that looked like milk tea with tapioca balls. If I could give Crepe Temptations zero stars for their drinks, I would. The one star is only there for ambiance.

I like things simple so i ordered a strawberry and kiwi crepe with chocolate syrup.

I watched as the guy made my crepe. I felt bad because i think he was nervous from me staring at him making my crepe. He did a good job though he was very thorough with the spread of the batter and when he put my strawberries and kiwi he was very careful with them; as if they were delicate flowers. To finish it up he crissed-crossed my chocolate syrup wrapped it up in the  foil, stuck it in the paper/cardboard holder and passed it along to me with a smile. How funny he was.

After i received my crepe i sat down under the t.v and began to take a bite. The crepe was very thin and crispy on the top. As i made my way down the crepe was perfect. infused with my fresh fruits and the sweetness of the chocolate syrup i was very please. The owner even asked me if everything was ok as i sat there chewing slowly at my crepe. I guess i kind of stared off into the space, yes it was that good.

Such friendly service and good pricing. I am definitely coming back when ever i can.

I had green tea ice cream with whip cream, with 3 slices of  tiramisu in a crepe. Green tea with whip cream taste okay but I messed up  in ordering the Tiramisu on top of that because the Tiramisu was way Too Sweet and taste like it's been FROZEN FOR A DECADE, and just THAWED in a moment of notice and very Bland like eating a cardboard box sprinkled with lots of sugar . The Crepe was too chewy. I Threw away all of the Tiramisu with the Chewy Crepe but ate all of the green tea ice cream.

Now! I know next time not to ORDER cake with my Crepe cause it does not go well together at all!! LIVE and LEARN! Especially I had an inkling that the cake was probably sitting around there since Ronald Reagan was the President.

I had a spoonful of my friend's ice cream which is Oreo cookies drizzled with chocolate Syrup with Lychee Ice Cream! That was So, So GOOD!! I make sure I ordered that next time (without the Chocolate Syrup). Also, next time I make sure I only order Ice Cream with my Crepe and just that. I think Simplicity is the Best Policy in enjoying this kind of Dessert: I probably go for Green Tea, Lychee ice cream, Chocolate, Peach or Mango.

The Service was Decent! and Cash Only.

Hmmm.. I don't think I should've ordered the crepes with the cakes.

I ordered a crepe with icecream and a tiramisu cake, forgot what my boyfriend ordered, but his friend ordered one with a red velvet cake and another friend ordered a savory crepe.

But yea, my first line says it all, crepe and cakes don't go well together, in this case at least. I could tell that the cakes were actually store bought from Lucky's and they just cut them into slices to put into the crepes. It was overly sweet (the cake problem), and I couldn't really finish my crepe, neither did the friend who ordered the one with red velvet. I really think those cakes have been sitting there for a while, since they didn't taste very fresh :( My boyfriend's crepe was more plain, but I regret not doing that, since staying safe was better than trying the tiramisu. Also, the savory crepe was pretty good though, I took a bite out of if and I instantly regretted my choice of crepe.

Well, not a good first impression, but at least I know what not to get when I visit this place again.

My dog is dying...so we created a bucket list for him.  He is a sweet dog and usually is too scared to do anything...EXCEPT a few years ago we were eating crepes and left it on the floor while sitting down....he grabbed the crepe from the bowl and started eating it!!!  Very bold move for such a small, sweet, little dog.

So we added feeding him a crepe to his bucket list.  Today, we fulfilled that by going to temptations.  We were too lazy to go to Genki's since it was raining.

My 12 yr old dog loved it and the 4 stars is from him.  We can't give it 5 stars since the original crepe he stole was from Genki's.

I usually stop by here after coming from The Pots which is down the block. Why am I still eating after an all you can eat meal... I'm not sure either! haha. Their selection here is pretty large. I also don't know what it is that I usually get, but there's usually ice cream and some mochi bits inside, good stuff! The wait here can get pretty ridiculous at times and when it's busy there's literally no place to sit or stand. I've been here on off days and very busy nights. There was a time I waited 30 minutes with my friend just to get a nutella and banana crepe! Was it worth the wait... not 30 minutes! I mean, it was good jesus christ, how long does it take to make the crepe, slap some nutella on it and slice some banana's?!?! haha. But yeah, it's stopping by if they're not busy or if you have time to kill.

This place was a random find while on a house hunt in the neighborhood. Looking at the menu, was totally confused on what to order as the list had so many options and combos to choose from. Finally decided on trying the savory Chicken, pesto, mozzarella and the salmon crepe. For dessert ordered the red velvet with ice cream.

The first bite of my crepe was an explosion of flavour in the mouth. Ohhh so good!! The crepe was light with the fresh taste of good portions of salmon and cream!! My brother's Chicken, pesto, mozzarella crepe was delish too, as he just finished the entire it in minutes, without a word, completely ignoring the dripping of the oil thru his hands!

Sadly the red velvet failed to touch the cord, hence would advice all to stay off from the cake crepes and instead opt for the basic sweet ones with fruits, nutella and whipped cream.

    PROS::
    Very cheap (mostly $6 )
A lot of options to choose from
    Fresh ingredients
    Fast service
    Open till midnight!!

    CONS::
    Cash only
    Cake crepes too stuffy

    Best on a budget .

You can't go wrong with strawberry, banana, strawberry ice cream and nutella. BUT the crepe itself was over cooked so it was hard bitting into it at a certain point. The line... wait there was no line but the wait... sigh.... I waited 15 mins for my crepe and the guy before me told me he called in his order and has been waiting for his for 20-30 mins and missed 2 street cars. Muni dosen't run fast at 9pm neither. I wouldn't come back just be cause of the ETA of me actually getting it in my hands. 5 mins is ideal for serving time.

Holy crap I love this place! The crepe was so yummy and the consistency of the crepe was the perfect amount of chewy/moistness/crunchiness and that's the most important part! A lot of places I go to fail to impress me with the textures of their crepes. They also have more flavor options as far as crepes go. They serve pollyanns ice cream :)

Interesting place...a bit out of the way if you don't live in the area.  A really wide selection of crepes, both sweet and savory.  Something about eating ice cream when it's 50 degrees outside is sort of odd, but it works and you get lots of time to eat since it won't melt very quickly.

I tried the peanut butter craze which is a crepe with peanut butter, choice of ice cream, mini peanut butter cups and whipped cream.  Not something to get if you're on a diet, but go for broke I say!  It's delicious!

I got to get back and try some others especially the savory crepes.  It may earn another star!

You know how when you order a crepe, it never looks as good as the picture on the menu? When my BFF and I came here, a young guy made our crepes and they were the prettiest crepes we'd ever ordered. And tasty!

I indulged and got a crepe with cheesecake AND ice cream. Mmmmm.

They have every possible combination of random crap you'd want on a crepe.
    Cornflakes? Check.
    BBQ sauce? Check.
    Bacon bits? Check.
Green tea ice cream with whipped cream and red velvet cake? Check.
I personally will stick with my marshmallow/nutella crepe because, let's face it, both of those things are awesome. Everything is better with nutella.
