I got the "slalom" crepe, it was very delicious n' cheesy. I also had a tasty cup of coffee that complimented my crepe.  The crepe had a very soft layer of egg whites inside, with tomato and melted cheese on top.  It had perfect combination of flavors, you don't need to add extra condiments.

The restaurant is very cute and cozy.  The waitresses were speaking French to each other, made me feel very international at the start of the day.

What a cute restaurant! The decor is very shabby chic and reminded me of cafes in Paris. It also helped that all the servers were stylish women with French accents.

We order two savory crepes, the chicken cordon bleu and the pesto mushroom. Both were excellent. We especially liked the buckwheat that the crepes were made of, which made our crepes very hearty.

Warning to cheese fondue newbies (people like us), the cheese fondue has some serious alcohol content in it. We didn't realize how much it would taste like wine. When we ask the server if the cheese fondue was suppose to taste like that, she didn't quite understand our question. There was a funny exchange where she thought we wanted more wine. So be forewarned, if you don't like the taste of alcohol, don't order the cheese fondue.

This is a really cute and VERY SMALL French creperie - we went on a Monday evening and there was still about a 20 min wait time (they do not accept reservations) which is probably very typical since there really is no "weekday" in a tourist town!

I was completely blown away by the menu - in that they were charging $20-$25 for a crepe! Granted that they were savory, but that's a lot for a thin pancake! I ended up getting the bratwurst crepe which had thin slices of "German" brat and a marinara sauce topped with ketchup and mustard. The crepe itself was made out of buckwheat and it was served with a side salad. I think I chose the wrong crepe because mine tasted like a calzone! My friend had the champignon which was definitely more tasty (but I still probably wouldn't shell out $25 for it though)!

The atmosphere is definitely very French and a lot of the waitresses spoke with an accent which made it feel tres Parisienne! I just feel that this place is overpriced (as is a lot of Whistler establishments) and the food just didn't quite live up to the price.

    Drool...(wipe mouth)...drool....(wipe mouth)....repeat....

We opted to sit outside, the view is of the street but it was a nice day to people watch and we enjoyed ourselves.

Great place for a light bite, granted we opted for a savory crepe along with a sweet crepe, to share mind you!  Still I left feeling full, which helped in the after glow of a mild end of Summer day....le sigh...the visit was perfect.

Top off the visit with our servers light French/Canadian accent we were transported to France...granted I have never been to France, but I did stay at a Holiday Express....(rim-shot)...

Yes, prices are steep-eh, for cripes sake we were in Whistler...but as others have mentioned, well worth the price!!!

Adorable little French place with limited seating and a homey environment. The teeny tiny interior is accented with perfectly delightful decor. The servers are pleasant, attentive, and sweet, and their French accents certainly add a certain je-ne-sais-quoi to the atmosphere that helps to reinforce that this place is quaint, simple, and authentic.

The menu offers both savory and sweet crepes. Being a savory person myself, I opted for the Ham, Cheese, and Asparagus crepe. It won my vote upon reading it was made with Gruyere cheese and served with bechamel sauce. I could have eaten two of these -- that's not to say it wasn't big enough, but it was just so good. The crepe comes with a light salad on the side which offered just a touch of acidity to the meal. I also enjoyed a Ceasar with my meal, although it wasn't the best I've had.

My dining companions all enjoyed their choices as well, and we agreed this is a must-do when visiting Whistler. If you're coming to town, it's the perfect place to stop after your drive, and makes for a lovely brunch at least once or twice during your stay if you're there for a few days.

A quaint, friendly, and surprising find in the heart of Whistler Village. We went here for breakfast and ordered the "Biathalon Crepe" with sunny side up egg, brautwurst, and tomoatoes.  The egg was PERFECTLY cooked, and was no-joke one of the best tasting eggs I've ever had. Maybe it's a Canadian thing, but damn that egg was tasty ;) The tomatoes and crepe itself were very tasty, and the crepe was fluffy and tied the meal together.  I opted out for the cheese on mine.

My wife got the version with ham and cheese. Again, very tasty crepe with a cheese similar to gruyer (sp?). The ham was very thin, but packed with flavor. I would definitely opt in for cheese next time on mine.

We also ordered a side of hashbrowns, which aren't your typical friend mashed tater tots. These were red skinned potatoes, roughly chopped and seasoned with chives and something else that was amazing. These were probably the best (non-fried) hashbrowns I've ever had.  It was like they had been brined in an herb solution or something. They were excellent.

The place itself is very small, a bit cramped....but as I mentioned, quaint.  The servers were very friendly, most of them being french-canadian.

Can't wait to go back here for breakfast and try the bacon which looked amazing.

Way better than a white spot...check this place out.

I was excited to try Crepe Montagne after reading the reviews, however after searching around trying to find the location and then seeing the prices ($20 for a crepe?  You've got to be kidding me!) we decided to take a pass.  I'm sure it's still great for brunch when the crepes are about half the price.

Went for lunch today! The place itself was tiny but adorable with a fun white tree decorated with disco balls and lanterns. Everyone we encountered seemed to have a french accent which added to the ambiance. My Mom and I asked if we could customize our savory crepe, which they were very gracious about. We got egg, tomatoes, goat cheese, mushrooms, asparagus, and spinach. It was Amazing! We also shared a crepe with lemon curd for dessert which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart. Total bill for two crepes and two mimosas was about $50 before tip. Seems kind of steep I guess for crepes but the mimosas come with your own champagne split and OJ carafe, so you really get about two mimosas for the price of one. Score!

This should be a must while visiting Whistler if you are a fan of crepes.  I was a bit skeptical that they use part buckwheat flour along with white for their savory crepes.  However, it tasted delicious not overly healthy tasting as I had worried about.  The prices were reasonable for Whistler ($10 - 12 for savory & $5 - $9 for sweet).  Overall, my favorite crepe place I have tried in the US so far.  The setting is very cute and appealing too:)  Great place for a break from skiing/snowboarding.

This is a great little place located behind the IGA at Whistler village.  Small, cozy tables inside and the service was excellent.  We had the French Onion soup-- marvelous, a cointreau flambe dessert crepe (butter / sugar), and the seafood crepe with fresh salad (dijon dressing).  The seafood crepe had a 3-cheesy rich creamy sauce on the inside and out.  It had a mixture of lobster, prawns, and scallops-- yummy!

This would be on my return list-- maybe for breakfast as it's a nice walk away from the central village, and there are a couple different ways to get there!

We had to try breakfast here after all the good reviews.  The restaurant is cute, the outside patio was full but it would be nice to sit out there on a sunny, warm day like we had.  The servers talk minimal French to you, like "Bonjour, Merci Beaucoup, Oui", etc.

The "2010" crepe is humongous.  My son had this and finished it and I have no idea how he did.  I ate the "Rockies" crepe and could only get half of it finished and was still full hours later.  Really good to have on occasion but really rich and filling!  Loved the crepes!

A wonderful gem for breakfast. The food was amazing!!!!

I had the Pesto Mushroom Eggs Benedict, so incredibly delicious! The flavors were so perfectly complimentary. My girlfriend had the Slalom Crepe (1 egg, 3 cheeses, tomatoes, green onions), it was good, but basic. The Pesto Benedict won the prize of amazing at this place!!!

Prices seem a little steep, but when you compare prices in the village for some of the other crepe and bfast joints, this one is worth every penny!!!

Take the walk over to Montagne, you won't regret it.

Stopped in here for breakfast during a recent trip up to Whistler.  We were crazy-starved, and it's all too important to load up your belly before hard charging a powder day at Whistler/Blackcomb.  The place was absolutely packed (always a good sign) with a 30min wait for a seat.  No-can-do if you're planning on catching first-tracks.  So, my buddy and I opted for take away.

The wait for the crepes was a little longer than we would have hoped for... and the prices were a little steep (but then ALL of the prices in Whistler are steep , much like the runs...) but let me tell you, when we did finally get those little boxes of Frenchy carbed goodness in our hands... all I could proclaim was...

    Sacrebleu!!

(in a good way of course)

These crepes were amazing!!  Mine was chalk-a-block full of bacon, eggs, cheese, tomatoes, and topped with some delicious pico de gallo (or whatever the french equivalent is...).  Absolutely delicious!

Doesn't hurt that all of the girls working here are stunningly beautiful with super sexy french accents.  (aww haw haw haw...)

Don't waste your time with Gerard Depardeau-inspired baguettes.  Or seafood caught by Jacques Cousteau.  Don't even mess around with one of the breakfast places around here shoving toast in your face and calling it "French".  Grab one of these crepes from Crepe Montagne and wash it down with a tall, cool, bottle of Perrier.  You won't be disappointed.

Highly recommended! ( - just be sure to bring your credit card.  It won't be a cheap experience.)

Massively suffering from a friend's stag the night before, we stumbled into Crepe Montagne, a staple of Whistler. Known for serving wicked breakfast crepes, it's exactly what the party doctor ordered. I went with my usual Rockies Breakie Crepe with extra bacon (can't go wrong with more bacon...ever) and the usual wake-up call of piping hot, dark roast coffee.

The crepe was filled with fresh eggs, bacon and cheese. The green onions provide a sharp contrast to the richness of the previous ingredients. A dash of hot sauce brought this breakfast dish to perfection. The coffee tasted great and hit the spot for me. Service was impeccable and it was a lovely start to the day.

Coles notes: Eat here for breakfast if in Whistler!

See blog for full review and photos.

This was without a doubt my favorite place I ate at during my stay in Whistle. It was a quick stop too, but nevertheless Crepe Montagne didn't fail to exceed my expectations. Sadly, I discovered it the last day there or else I would of went in for another visit. That is saying a lot, since I tend to not revisit many places (especially when visiting an area).

I ordered the Rookies.  Oh man, delicious! Whatever you order, get the Canadian bacon. It is so good here. Maybe just in Canada in general? Who knows, but honestly the Canadian bacon is what made this crepe amazingly good. Well, maybe also their homemade buckwheat flour crepe :D

Crepe Montagne also offers a Western breakfast, but honestly don't bother.  Granted the place isn't cheap, but what place is in Whistler?  Well worth every penny.

My younger brother and I discovered this cozy place on our last day at Whistler this past Monday. It is on the edge of the village but well worth finding. A pleasant older lady walking her dog overheard us asking someone else for directions and offered to guide us to the restaurant. This surprised me because both my brother and I are 5'10", approaching 200lbs, and both look a little Mexican(because we're mostly Mexican). But this lady gave us a  warm smile and gladly led us to the quiet alley way that we had already passed by on our search. I love Canada.

When you walk in, take a look at the kitchen to your left. To me, it looked like a beautifully clean, white, gourmet kitchen that you would find in someones home. We showed up around 10am, and there were only a few tables seated. This is a very small restaurant, our booth was for two, but it felt like we were sitting with the 4 guys at the table next to us, so everyone but myself was using their six inch voices at first. This place must be quite the clusterfuck when they get busy with how small the layout is.

I quickly overcame my claustrophobia once our delightful French speaking server showed up at the table. I had a long drive back to Portland ahead of me and wanted my stomach to travel lightly, so I ordered a basic crepe with a 3 cheese blend, egg and green onions, Awesome!  While enjoying my dish, I watched everything else that came out of the kitchen for other tables, the locals were ordering the western style breakfasts, and the smell and presentation of all the food was spectacular.

Despite us being a couple of Yankees, our friendly server, was on top of us. With a very thick accent, she told me her name, I think she said Alaxi. She kept my cup of coffee full and checked on us regularly but not overbearingly, perfect.  When we were finished, we paid with credit cards, our server was able run our cards, print receipts, and close out the whole transaction with her handheld card machine. I love living in the FUTURE!

A sincere thanks to everyone at Crepe Montagne for putting a cherry on top of our Sunday trip to Whistler. We'll be back!

Ordering the Rockies breakfast resulted in the most amazing crepe experience of my life.  I'll search for that delicious mixture of egg, cheese, chives, and canadian bacon close to home and I'll be happy to find something even half as tasty as Crepe Montagne.

The attentive service pushes this place to five star category.  Our hostess/waitress quickly greeted us with the fun "How many are you?" translation that I haven't heard since visiting France.  Also, once our drinks arrived and before we even had a chance to complain, she noticed and fixed a watery orange juice that never should have left the kitchen.  Anytime the wait staff corrects those small details reassures me that I can recommend not only the food, but also quality of service.

Nice little French crepe place (obviously). Stopped in for a late breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Muesli, which was great with big fresh strawberries and bananas. The wife had some sort of crepe. It was rich and filling. Price was okay, but this is Whistler so everything is pricier.

Authentic French creperie complete with friendly French staff.

We both ordered the Rockies crepe, with is 2 eggs, ham or Canadian bacon, 3 cheeses and green onions. Beautifully presented, this was one of the best crepes I've had and it was very filling with all that good cheese melted on top.

Will definitely try out their sweet crepes on my next visit.

A great little place tucked away from the Whistler village main stroll, the "locals" would love to keep this place to themselves.

We've only had crepes here, all varieties tried are delicious, a mixed berries with crème Anglaise and a Champignons (mushrooms with Canadian bacon) crepe left the most vivid memory.

Decor is elegantly rustic. The two tables at the back (go to the end and turn left) are particularly cozy/cute. Warm services, genuinely friendly. Merci Beaucoup!

Love this place in Whistler. A little off the beaten path and different.
Very small, very intimate with only a few booths inside and then outside more tables (which is fine for summer).
Great traditional style crepes made with white/Buckwheat flour.
Many savoury as well as sweet and fruit ones to choose from. Also flambee desert crepes.
For fruit I love the Banana Caramel, for sweet (but it is not too sweet, I love the Honey Almond, and for savoury I like all of those - so it just depends on your preferences. Good bacon and Canadian bacon there and good coffee.
They also serve more traditional breakfast items there like omelets, waffles, and pancakes so for a breakfast place there is something for everyone.

I have not had dinner there but they offer a variety of savoury crepes, seafood crepes,  and other desert crepes. They also have fondue, but I have not had the fondue there.

    Very friendly French-Canadian staff.

Whenever I was feeling like treating myself to something special I would go to Crepe Montagne and get a chocolate and strawberry crepe. I have had a lot of crepes in my time, and these were superb. A good texture - not too thin that the crepe falls apart, not too thick that the crepe overpowers the filling. The savory crepes here are just as good.
It's a cozy place so seating can become an issue. Don't worry though, you can entertain yourself finding Waldo (Wally for all you non-North Americans). Albeit a bit on the pricey side, this is still a great place for families in the earlier dinner hours or a romantic date later on.

I love this place. It's compact, hidden, and has a nice country-style decor perfect for the menu items they serve.

We had the best server who was very personable. She entertained all our inquiries and made us feel at home.

I had a hearty classic Swiss cheese fondue delicately served in a copper pot. The white wine was very pronounced and the garlic slices were delectable. I had a shot of Kirsch which they eliminated from the recipe, but I found balanced the sharpness and overall flavour.

The chocolate crepes were of the milky variety. It would have been perfect if it was darker and a bit bitter, but this was equally satisfying.

Sips of the strawberry smoothie in-between bites made for an almost perfect experience at Crepe Montagne. I like how bananas was used to create the smoothie versus adding milk or yogurt (which they will gladly add should you want dairy).

Despite the above positive experince, the steep price for crepes and the pub style '90s background music knocked it off it's pedestal.

I will come back when in Whistler. If only for the service alone.

Friendly staff! Cozy ambience! Yummy crepes!  A winner in my book!

    We ordered:

    1) Oh! Berries, which is the "favorite" amongst all customers, and I thought the creme anglaise was a nice touch.
    2) Rockies crepe: scrambled eggs, cheese, green onions and CANADIAN BACON! (YUM)
    3) Lemon Curd: Yum, but only if you really like lemon curd, otherwise might be too lemon "puckery for your taste
    4) Strawberry & Nutella; MUCH better than the Hot Buns bakery in the village, that is for sure.  Sadly you can tell all the fruits are frozen, but i guess it is hard to get fresh berries in the dead of winter in Whistler.

I would go back for lunch and try the fondue.

This is the second time we've eaten here. The last time was a few years ago. It is consistently excellent. I get the eggs benedict and the hollandaise sauce is awesome. I also asked they substitute the hash browns that come with it with a pancake instead, which they did without hesitation. The pancake was freaking AWESOME. I think it was made with buckwheat. I just loved it, not sweet but just perfect.

My hubby had a crepe with berries on it and that was good.

My only complaint is the place is tiny and you feel like a giant in the mini booths in the back. Also the wait can be really long. We went around 11am (Christmas week) on a Wednesday and didn't wait at all. We'll be back.

This place was a little bit hard to find since big umbrella was in front of the sign-- but it was absolutely the best affordable food we had at whistler.  my husband had a breakfast crepe which was great.  the crepe batter was flour and buckwheat added so it was a good filling and delicious.  our kids ate the strawberry and nutella crepe which was of course a hit.  and i avoid gluten so I stuck with the eggs, ham and fresh fingerling potato breakfast.  i was blown away by the potatoes (simple green onion and parsley) it was so good.  Hands down best breakfast place to go.  wish we could of gone for dinner too.  they were laid back so we were able to bring our kids.  and to top it all of.. the server girl gave really really good customer service.

Delightful service (tiny dining area, though, so be prepared to wait), wonderful cappuccino, and the best crepes west of, well, someone else with as many French Canadian bona fides as Crepe Montagne. My friend suggest we try this place because I love fondue and there are few choices for it in Vancouver.

The place is extremely cosy and cute, with seating for about 30?

Our companions had some pretty standard dessert crepes, and we shared the meat fondue (certainly something I haven't found in Vancouver yet!). I've always wanted to try it, and in a way, was slightly disappointed.

Beef broth based, the little bite sized morsels of beef, pork loin and shrimp, served as great sponges to soak up the delightfully seasoned broth. I was not fond of the 3 rich dipping sauces that were provided. They seemed a bit "out of the jar".

Not sure what the normal charge is for meat fondue and perhaps I'm not used to "Whistler" pricing, but $30/pp seemed a bit steep for what we had

Caucasian hot pot, is pretty much what we got. I kept wanting to ask for a bowl of white rice!

it was our last day in whistler, and we decided to get some crepes for breakfast.
right when we walked up to the restaurant it started smelling SUPER yummy and i yelled, "OMFG THAT SMELLS HELLA GOOD." and i made eye contact with the cook and he smiled at me. and i knew my breakfast was about to be awesome.

i couldn't make up my mind between the smoked wild salmon eggs benedict or the slalom... and i ended up getting the Slalom, which is a savory crepe made with buckwheat flour crepe with 3 cheeses, sunny side up egg, canadian bacon and tomatoes.

everything was so PRETTY. and delicious. and the lady is SO CUTE!!! oui oui.

wish i could go back and try everything else on their menu... and they had FONDUES too... bah i seriously fell in love with this place! wish they would open a store in seattle!

had breakfast here and the service was awesome and the coffee refills kept on flowing.

    - western breakfast: yeah, i should have went with a french style breakfast but i wanted a very hearty meal before hitting the slopes.  the eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns were pretty good.  unfortunately, the pancakes were super dense and thus i was put off by the texture.

    - eggs benedict w/ pesto mushroom: this was outstanding. the eggs were poached perfectly and the pesto mushroom sauce really made the dish pop.

    - slolam crepe: pretty good and when it was served, the dish was reminiscent of a pizza.  all in all, the egg, bacon, 3 cheeses, fresh tomato, and green onions made for a good crepe.

good breakfast joint but i recommend sticking with the crepes and eggs benedict.

I had a wonderful breakfast here while I was last up in Whistler for my birthday. The service was great and the food was fantastic.
I had a wonderfull breakfast crepe with eggs and ham and tomatoe (the 2010 crepe I believe) It was fantastic and super filling. Just the perfect thing to help recover from a late night.
My wife had the eggs benedict and they were to die for. Maybe it was just me being very hungry but they were the best part of the breakfast other than the fresh squeezed OJ.
I would recommend checking this place out. We really wanted to try lunch here but it wil have to wait until next time. I know crepes don't sound that sexy but damn are they good. Cheers.

I'm in love with Crepe Montagne ... from the rustic, french decor to the amazing crepes.  I almost don't want to review it so I can keep it all to myself.  But alas ... here I am, spilling the goods on a great place to grab dinner in Whistler.

For all the times I've visited Whistler, I'm embarrassed to say I haven't ventured far from the main stroll through the village.  Sitting just a block behind the stroll is a secret stash of *great* places to eat (unlike the crap served in the main stroll area ).  Let's just say, this is where the locals hang out and eat.

Crepe Montagne offers a good selection of freshly made dessert crepes but also dinner crepes.  The dinner crepes are served with a large side salad and are filled with savoury mixtures.

I ordered the chorizo which is accompanied by a bechamel sauce and cheese.  It's rich and delicious, although the chorizo wasn't spicy at all (the only  bummer during this meal).  All of the dinner crepes are made with a buckwheat crepe batter.

While you wait for your order, many of the booths feature a magazine rack on the wall so you read if your dinner companion is rather boring (mine was not, so no reading for me).

The staff (one of whom was the owner, I think) were extremely friendly and helpful in ordering.  Although stuffed from the dinner crepes, I ordered a chocolate/caramel dessert crepe.  It was drenched in the most delicious chocolate sauce and caramel sauce ... so decadent.

Will be back for more crepes the next time we're in Whistler!

Oh, should note that dinner crepes are on the pricier side ... around $20 per crepe ... but I don't feel cheated.  They were dang good.
