I have to admit, I was skeptical at first. Shifty eyed, cross-armed, the whole shebang.
What a fool I was. What a foolish fool.
They have (vegan) sorbet and "ice cream", and lots of it. Colourful, super friendly staff who don't roll their eyes when you ask, "Is this vegan? And what about this thing? And how about the cone?" The staff give out free samples for you to try and explain each flavour and suggest ones that you would have never tried in a million years that turn out to be amazing. I tried the matcha (good) and the peanut butter (best) and thought I was a child again.
I was ecstatic when I learned that they have colourful, sweet, delicious things that I can eat. So simple, so good, so delicious.

I went back for the New Years eve for a Queue de Castor. In Summer they mostly sell nice fresh sorbert and ice cream. In Winter they mostly focus their business on Queue de Castor which basically is a empty calorie fried dough with...well there comes the tricky part: Nutella banana or Caramel and chocolate, or Sugar and cinnamon and apples. Skor etc.. it's pretty darn good in winter.
Je suis retourné à la Crèmerie Meu meu le 31 pour manger une Queue de castor. Les locaux ont pas mal déjà tous manger une Queue de castor qui est en fait une pate frite avec des trucs pas trop bons pour vos dents. bref Chocolat et Caramel, Pomme, Cannelle et Sucre, Nutella et banane et même Skor. Assez décadent! Un must.
Not perfect, pas Parfait: NO Credit Cards, NO Interact (which is a bad business decision in my opinion) but ohh well!1 Previous Review: Show all »

The salted caramel was my ice cream of choice and it was delightfully soft and creamy and subtly sweet caramel tasting with that hint of salt. Service was friendly and patient (in letting us try different flavors). Nowhere to sit and lick your ice cream inside, but there's a bench outside for people to enjoy their sweet treat.
