Great selection for men & women with a very attentive staff. I would recommend to anyone who needs a quality pair of shoes. You will.hate buying shoes anywhere else.

Very disappointing service. In the past the sales staff seemed more knowledgable and upfront. There is a good selection of quality brand shoes in the store. However they frequently don't have my size (41 euro not that unusual). I almost exclusively wear Dansko clogs and the sales person brought a size up because they were out of my size. I told her they were the wrong size and she said they could order them. I was then wanting to try another brand sandal and they were tight to try. I checked the size and they were a size too small. I said the size was wrong and she told me they run big. It really felt slippery at Craig's today. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because of the large selection of shoe. I think the days of the good shoe stores with good sales people no longer exists. It's too bad; I really would prefer to shop locally.

I kept getting mailer ads for this place and then started seeing ads in the local papers for their designer lines. I figured it would be a good thing to support a local business rather than schlep myself to DSW and be dissapointed with last year's selection or to Oak Brook and be robbed. I was so glad I went here!
I came in just to see if I could find some Vans and left with a replacement pair of blue Vans and ordered a new hunter green style of Danskos. The husband also found a mock-suede pair of slip ons and our salesman waited on us both, answering all of my (many) questions without rushing us at all. I asked about the Sperrys and he told me to wait to spring for the next styles that seemed more my style based on what I said I was looking for. To me, that sold me on being a permanent customer because he was not just trying to move stock, but trying to make sure I was happy with my purchase.
My ordered shoes were in after less than a week and I love them! I also love that parking is easy in this area - and the tapas restaurant we like is across the street - food and shopping? That's all me, all the time. -

Glad to have found this gem. Awesome selection of high quality shoes, non-pushy, but attentive sales staff, and an overall great experience. I was impresed with all the great brands offered for a much better price than The Walking Store. Any shoe that you purchase here should last for years if cared for.
The only reason I rated four stars rather than five is that they had none of the shoes I liked for my son in the correct size. Plenty for me though. -

I have been to every good shoe shop in Chicago, and I saw on Yelp this place had a good review. I have to say that I have never had such a horrible experience as I did here. The customer service is similar to Walmart, and the man, I guess I can call him a man, helping me was very rude!!! The shoes are cheap knock offs, and I would never go here again/
I asked for the manager, and when I was told that the man helping me was the manager I felt disgusted!!
DONT GO HERE!!! There are many other better shoe stores than this dump -

Have lived in Oak Park since 07 but this was my first time at Craigs. Nice selection of kids shoes and fair prices. Great sales help. I'd appreciate a better selection of boys shoes, but there are few places that stock cute shoes for boys.

Very nice selection of European and comfort shoes such as Born and Clarks. A little hard to park on Cermack but there are parking spaces behind the store. The workers are very helpful.

This guy has the best selection of Sanita and Danskos in the city. On top of that, his prices are fair. He's about 15 bucks cheaper than other Dansko dealers and his variety is admirable. Staff was very helpful and not pushy at all. They let me try on a bunch of colors without getting irritated and let me walk around the store. I will return!

This is a great place to get practical, comfortable shoes at competitive prices. They stock lots of name brands (Merrell, Privo, Dansko to name a few), and have shoes for men, women, and children. It's an old-fashioned full service shoe store, which is hard to find these days. They not only get the shoes from the back room for you, but they place them on your feet! They have great sales and knowledgeable staff--two things that will keep me coming back.

Great Prices!. Look for coupons in the local area newspapers. Small store with a mix of high quality to middle priced shoes to fit anyone's budget. Located on Cermak & East Avenue. A bit hard to park. Staff are very friendly and helpful, a local favorite.

I was really happy with this place. They had some super expensive kids shoes there for about 20 bucks less than other stores, and really nice service. Thank goodness they measured my boys' feet, otherwise he would continue walking around in too-small shoes. Great selection for quality brand childrens' shoes.

I live in Oak Park and I am trying to shop local, so I checked out Craig's. They carry brands that I like, including Keen, Merrell, Red Wing, Ugg, and many more. Service is fast and courteous. The store is easy to find (NE corner of East and Cermak) and there is plenty of parking, either on the street or behind the store. They have frequent sales and I just picked up a great pair of sandal for $10. They have a great selection of kids shoes too. And if they don't have your size, they will order it for you.

Great place - lowest prices on Dansko's (which have saved my back!) a much better selection than Nordstrom's and terrific service from friendly people
