CROOKED & DISHONEST!!!!
Expensive and competant service but the Manager was downright dishonest.
I brought an ICBC claim to this particular Craftsman Collision for an accident I wasn't at fault with. The extensive damage to my car required that I needed to get a courtesy car from a rental car company arranged/approved by Craftsman as they didn't have any available at that moment. Craftsman arranged this for me. At the car rental company they referrenced my claim number and they called Craftsmen for approval.
I WAS SHOCKED when several months later, I got a call from a collection agency saying I didnt pay my courtesy car rental bill. They threatened to damage my credit rating if I didn't pay right away. I explained to the collection agency what had happened and this was part of my claim - but they said it was between me and Craftsman to sort things out. When I called Craftsman for help they claimed they were not able to do anything. I specifically asked to talk to the manager and he also confirmed that he was unable to do anything. Huh? I scratched my head and couldn't believe what I was hearing.
I then called ICBC and within seconds they identified that Craftsmen was at fault and ICBC called Craftsman to straighten them out . ICBC called me back in less than 2 minutes and said it was all cleared up - problem with Craftsman!
I was very disappointed in Craftsman for leaving me hanging on the courtesy car arrangement that was part of my claim. Craftsmen ONLY did something after ICBC told them to - and pretended not to know anything about this arrangment. ABSOLUTELY UNDERHANDED!!! VERY DISHONEST!
In addition, after a few weeks of getting my car back, I noticed several items missing from my trunk and when I asked the Manager in person, he pointed at a sign saying they were not responsible for lost items, to boot he told me his employees were all" ex-tibetan monks" and incapable of thievery and smiled at me. WHAT A JERK!
I couldn't believe this!!!! I would never bring my car into this particular Craftsman ever again. I would recommend you steer clear of this place.
