Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Fried Seafood. What else could be better after a LONG day of flying? Nothing!
Cozy Bay is my Great Uncle's absolutely favorite fish and chip shop. He drives from Penticton just to eat at Cozy Bay in Summerland. So, of course we had to try this place for ourselves while we were in town. Our large group of 10 was seated (we called ahead because Cozy bay is small and 10 people takes up a lot of room). The servers were super nice and helped us with our decisions. There are several types of fish and seafood you can get. You also have different types of coatings you can get on the fish from beer battered to coated in bread crumbs.
The scallops were delish! The cod was a table favorite. I had the seafood sampler plate and everything on it was great. The popcorn shrimp were yummy and the scallops were probably my favorite. The french fries were really good and my husband loved his cole slaw. No one had any complaints except that the pieces of fish were huge and we couldn't finish them. They had ketchup, tartar sauce, spicy cocktail sauce, and malt vinegar so you could prepare your fish however you'd like.
The interior of the place is what you'd expect... cheesy sea theme. The parking is limited to what's on the street. We went late on a Friday night, so there was plenty of parking, I'm guessing it's much busier on a lunch weekday.
If you are in Summerland and craving some fish and chips... Cozy Bay is the place to satisfy your craving.Listed in: Okanagan Valley
