Truly great ice cream. I tried the wowie cowie, which was delicious. They also give free samples so take advantage! High on milkfat = high flavor. Service is also real friendly.
The cow parody items are cute too. MooTube? Justin Beefer? Clever. They are available online as well, definitely worth checking out. -

The ice cream is good, and I love the smell of waffle cones as soon as I enter the shop. Even better is gift shop section of the store. The parody t-shirts are worth checking out, especially for the tourist family.
I will say, though, that the food itself seems greatly overpriced. Maybe I'm just spoiled by smaller stands outside of the city, but it just doesn't seem like Cow's ice cream is worth what they're charging. Still, I can't help but make a trip each summer I'm around. -

I don't usually go out and buy ice cream from a shop except when I'm on vacation. I couldn't resist having some from COWS. I first saw a COWS a few years ago in Halifax and also went to the one in Banff but had never tried their ice cream. This time I couldn't resist on a lovely evening in Charlottetown. The smell of the fresh waffle cones draw people to the shop. There were about 25-30 flavours and I chose the mint oreo in a cup. It was delicious and not too rich. I wished I could have a cone the next day but was too full from my dinner. I'm glad they don't have a COWS in Edmonton because I wouldn't be able to resist! This is the best ice cream I've ever had!
